My 2021 could not operate the frunk in any way except the manual handle inside the car. After installing the update I can use the app as well as the keypad. I've been nagging Ford about this for 3-years. I should probably note that my 2021 is a Job-1.

I received the mount. It does. fit under the head liner, but it's. thin metal and has to be beefed up with.something like thin foam to keep it's secured in the head liner.

That hasn't been my experience. They don't hold up as well for me in winter. Then it's almost possible to reattach because the plastic becomes rigid.

I'm using the windshid suction mount that was included with my DFR9. I have it pushed up to where the black dots are. The suction cups are as partially under the headliner to the edge of the glass. So far it's been working. I haven't ordered a universal visor mount yet. Thanks for reminding. me...

Let's just hope that never happens. I can almost a hear them trying to weasel out of the replacement for some obscure warranty exclusion.

Does your matte screen protector hide finger prints?

That's pricey considering most sell for around $80. If you can get the cost to around $100 I'd be interested.

How about in-channel side deflectors? I just returned the Ford taped on deflectors. They were noisy, and too obstructive Imo.

What is the name of the product at Walmart that will protect the screen. Does it prevent fingerprints on the screen as well?

Formatting the drive as exfat didn't help. Selecting media options to reindex the drive is also no help. I am only able to see the entire folder list about 1 out of every 4 tries. The list usy. hangs after scrolling past 20 folders or so.

We're you able to eliminate the wind noise? Was the small gap a product defect, or just a miscalculation during the installation?

Yes. I also noticed that when browsing the drive by folders they are alphabetical as expected. However if I open a folder with subfolders and select "play all" it seems to randomly select the order, not alphabetical as expected. I just formatted a new drive as. exfat and. will see if that helps
