Any Memphis, TN Mach E owners?

Final update on Blue Note. It just sold- about 3 months on the lot. Last I saw, dealer marked it down $9K from initial listing. Hope the new owners enjoy it - I did and I enjoy my Lightning XLT.

Any Memphis, TN Mach E owners?

I'll be surrendering Blue Note today and see that it is already being shown on the dealer's website. It will be at Bolivar Ford - GLTA. Deal is done - the dealership marked it up $13,500 over what I got in trade. They won't get it, but I hope they do well. Factory reset is...

Any Memphis, TN Mach E owners?

So long, but not goodbye to this forum. I'm moving over to a Ford Lightning early next week, so I won't be driving Blue Note around the Bartlett area. I'll be driving Blue Mule - the Anti-Matter Blue is not as eye-catching, but if you see me, I hope you'll wave or beep. It has been very...

Any Memphis, TN Mach E owners?

I've had a lot of fun with Blue Note, but I should be moving on to my Anti-Matter Blue Lightning XLT in the next few days. It is time to see if the Grabber Blue, AWD and Extended battery increase my trade in value (already expecting I've taken a 10% hit from Ford lowering pricing) a bit - my...

Any Memphis, TN Mach E owners?

Just played some leap-frog with an Iconic Silver or maybe Gray MMe on the Flyover and I-40 East. Exited at Germantown Parkway. I like the rear spoiler.👍

Any Memphis, TN Mach E owners?

My time to trade in Blue Note on my Lightning XLT is fast approaching. The XLT was built last week, so I should get it delivered within a month - could be a nice Valentine's Day treat! The MMe has been fun to drive and I'll likely trade it in on the Lightning - I hope the next owner enjoys it...

Profile not loading and cannot select

I appreciate the input from all of you on this - I just started having this on my 22 Premium - first time I noticed it was when I picked it up from the dealer for its service on December 19th - I took it back, but they had no idea of how to fix it. Of course it reset in their service lane, so I...

Ordered Extended Range Battery, Got the Standard

Sorry if this has been stated elsewhere (I'm too lazy to search all the posting :p) - but a very simple way to determine battery capacity is to review your charge log. The log shows % added and time to charge. If you know the rate of charge (my Level 2 Grizzl-E is about 8), you can calculate the...

What made you choose an extended range, all-wheel-drive, or both?

Rare road trips over 200 miles one way, but sparse DCFC network guided me to ER. AWD is for occasional ice in Memphis area. My normal practice is to charge once a week ( 5 day 30 mile round trip commute). Plan to trade in next year for Lightning SR XLT - should be all I need. I have to admit...

Range decrease due to cold weather! -- Explanation & how to calculate actual range

Today I left home with 95% SOC and the range estimate was 222 miles. I drove my usual 15.6 miles and the SOC decreased to 90% - so I used about 4.55 KW. At the end of my commute, the GOM says I have 235 miles of range. The difference is the temperature during my commute was 48 F versus the...

Any Memphis, TN Mach E owners?

I'm likely leaving the MMe Memphis area group as my 2023 F150 Lightning is scheduled to build in early January. Blue Note has been fun and enjoyable, but I always planned to get the EV Pickup. Just thought it would be later. GLTA

DCFC melted / welded to Mach-E charge port during charging session (updated with photos) 😱

I encountered an EVGO charger in Nashville where the plugs were left on the ground instead of being returned to their brackets, so some responsibility lies with users. I chose one that had little dirt in it and it worked without incident. I shook dirt out of the ones left out and put them...

Range decrease due to cold weather! -- Explanation & how to calculate actual range

I took my ER Premium ER on a round trip to Cincinnati from Memphis this weekend - used DCFC each way and I confirm that range dropped by about 25% versus my local experience in warmer weather. Temps were in the low 30's daytime when I was driving, but in the high teens overnight when it was...

    Collision avoidance is brilliant!!

I believe I had to step on the brake pedal to cancel the automatic braking when I experienced a driver who pulled out in front of me (at 90 degree angle) While pointing at my GB MME! Only time that the car has slid on drive pavement. Missed by less than a foot.

Who IS NOT having problems with their brand new Mach-e? 2021/ 2022

3500 miles 3.5 months. Only issue is the program to track m/kw - but others have explained that. Mine was built the week of 5/27 when they corrected the HVBJB issue.

Poll: Did you pay MSRP or less for your new MME?

MSRP - but Price Protection. No other rebates or credits.

Mach-E Premium AWD SR vs AWD ER -- worth spending the $6,000 to get an extended range battery?

Back in the late 60's, Ford made a lot of 289s when the 351 was available! 😎

Mach-E Premium AWD SR vs AWD ER -- worth spending the $6,000 to get an extended range battery?

With the new pricing for 23, SR looks even better. I hope my trade in/ resale value keeps pace. 😎 ;)

Mach-E Premium AWD SR vs AWD ER -- worth spending the $6,000 to get an extended range battery?

I opted for the ER and AWD, but when I trade it in on a Lightning pickup; I will get a SR battery. The trade in value was a factor on the MMe. I only have a 15 mile commute and Solar cells and I rarely take long trips. That will change when I retire in a few years - but DCFC is still cheaper...
