Hi,
I have the opposite issue, I live in Maine! And since the first day of ownership, the outdoor temp has taken quite a while to update. Never experienced this is any other car I have owned.
No idea why, just another Sync failing.
This car is the most loved and most despised car I have ever known in 50 years! I have anxiety wondering if today is the day I get stranded by battery connectors or simply surprised by another software bug! Considering all possible replacement options and weighing financial hit. Never another Ford.
Greetings,
I started getting error that Navigation still loading when I try using it by voice. The nav card never appears on screen. This has continued for 3 weeks even after 2 SW updates. I can't think of anything to try.
Car is J1 and has been getting updates and is current.
Any thoughts...
Honestly, after I keep seeing these show up, I just dread walking up to my car. Not a pleasant feeling and keeps nudging me to sell it before getting stranded someplace.
This is just so awful! I have a job 1, no dcfc and drive it like grandmother, afraid to travel long distance. This isn't why I bought a mustang.
Needs to be a recall to correct before getting stranded.
Hi,
I am in southern Maine and have similar experiences. My dealer only sold 2 MME and the techs are clearly not educated much about the car. They typically plug in the laptop, run the FDRS program and see if it completes without error. Although the wifi is excellent, the amount of time is...
Make sure you document everything. You have great protection in CA for lemon law coverage. You shouldn't have to suffer with a new car and keep making payments for nothing.
Totally agree. Bios updates are very infrequent but windows software updates monthly. Ford wants you to be inconvenienced by a bug first before dealer fixes it. We were sold the promisr of OTA updates. Clearly after 2 years that still isn't working effectively. If that was in place, then I agree...
Mine was early job 1 build and nhtsa does show recall as outstanding for me. Nhtsa number is not available right now.
thanks for excellent post!
I did file complaint as mentioned in other post as well.
Starting to sound like the Bolt battery fix Chevy tried, using software instead of hardware. This part needs to be updated, Ford doesn't want to deal with it.
Update is available but there are already reports of the problem still happening. The fix is similar to Chevy attempting to fix the Bolt battery problems by limiting capacity. In the end, only hardware actually fixed it. I fear Ford is just delaying the inevitable due to lack of parts.
Oh man! What an awful thing to happen and certainly calls into question the validity of the SW fix! Makes you wonder exactly how much QA went into this whole power limiting concept as a fix for a component issue.
