Mandating hybridization would have been a great first step. Proven tech, not a huge price impact, and how can anyone complain about better gas mileage. Well someone would complain, they always do.
The message only flashes on the screen for a few seconds so it's easy to miss. Seems as if something this serious should stay as a message for longer than that.
I bought the extended warranty and promised my wife I wouldn't sell it until it expired, 45k down - 80K to go. I have a problem with buying a new car every year or two but for what I want to spend there aren't any cars out right now that make me want to sell it anyway. Only way I would sell...
Do you have a helpful tip that will let the car know it is me, instead of my wife, so that when I get in the settings haven't changed and I slam my knees into the steering wheel?
Most of the people were surprised by the info I was giving them and most of them had no idea of the different variables in cars, chargers, etc. When I showed them the rate of charge on the charger and warned them to watch for derated chargers the varied responses were interesting. I have had...
Every time I have used a fast charger and talked to the people charging there they have no idea about the charge capabilities, or lack there of, that their car has. It's possible manufacturers don't want their customers to know because they're afraid that they might lose them to someone with...
Tesla is a very innovative company and I appreciate out of the box thinking. I seriously considered a M3P because it is an amazing vehicle. However a lot of Tesla's "innovation" is cost cutting disguised as innovation and the styling is boring at this point.
I prefer a drivers display. One of the reasons no Model 3 in my near future. I found it puzzling on the redesigned 3 that they put a screen in the back seat but not in front of the driver.
My BC has definitely changed. I have over 40k miles on my car and I use BC on the same 35 mile route every week. Previously the IPC had 3 different looks for the driver assistance features. The first one had a line that outlines the car and will change color depending on your position in a lane...
Giving the car the power I though it was going to have could save Ford from losing me as a customer. While everything is not perfect with the car (8 problems I had the dealer look at when I took it in for its 40K service, 4 of which have been looked at previously) these problems have not got to...
Most people don't understand why I like my 62 Ranchero either so I feel you. If you think the Mach E is bouncy you should go for a ride with me in the 62, lol.
Mine charges correctly at home but charges to 100% at work. I'm not at work long enough for it to get to 100% but it sometimes will get to 92% 93% before I leave. I'll have to try some of the ideas in this post.
