I reset my old phone to the factory settings, but when I tried to add my new phone to the vehicle it said I already had a startup passcode that matched the one I tried to use. So, I know I need to delete the phone from the car somehow. Does anyone know how to do this?
Somewhat better. I basically had to adjust my driving position expectation from that of a crossover (higher up) to that of a sedan (lower) and it seems to work better. I feel like my view over the long hood is compromised a bit though.
In this case, I meant more like GM. But if I recall my Mitsubishi worked the same way as my Chevy. If you have it set to auto, it just detects if there are other cars. If there aren't, the high beams turn on. If there are, they turn off.
There seem to be a lot of you who hate the idea of people driving through your neighborhoods with high beams on. Perhaps your neighborhoods are situated differently than those I've lived in, but why is this so bothersome? Maybe I'm missing something.
Also, it's interesting to me that Ford takes...
Of course I could. But the car has an auto feature. I just don't think it is implemented particularly well and there's an incredibly easy software fix to make everyone happy.
I just wish it worked like the auto bright/dim feature on non-Ford cars I've owned. I can see an argument for the way...
I'm surprised there are so many of you who like this feature. Even if you do like it, a better implementation would be to have the mph selectable on the options screen with an on/off toggle.
The neighborhood I live in has a speed limit of 25 mph. When I first got my car, I thought it was weird that my auto bright/dim headlights would never seem to work properly in my neighborhood. After a few more months of ownership, it appears there is a setting that prevents the auto high beams...
I had a Model 3 as a rental this weekend. The biggest annoyance for us was probably the door handles. That just seems like a design idea that never should have made it past the prototype stage.
Other than that, I prefer having a screen in front of me, but I could deal with the lack of one. Not...
Am I the only one who has a hard time finding a comfortable driving position? I still find myself fiddling with the seat settings. I've tried higher, lower, further forward, back, etc. and I can never quite get it to where I find it great.
I'm 5'10" and pretty normal proportions, so I would...
TITCR.
I have test driven both in extended range (RWD and AWD). My dealer's test vehicle is a RWD ER and I ended up buying an AWD ER.
I'm not a speed junky. I don't particularly care for sports cars. I don't race people off the line. Anyway, you get the idea.
I could EASILY tell the...
You're overthinking it. With the driving you described, you'll never be close to running out of juice.
After driving for about a week, you'll get used to what, for example, 52% battery means in real world range and you won't worry about it anymore.
In terms of the extra 30 miles of range, the...
Sure! Actually, I'd prefer buttons the size of the parking assist buttons. I don't understand why gear shifting needs to be so prominent anyway. It seems like a holdover from manual transmission vehicles.
After having regularly driven a plug-in hybrid in EV mode, I had a Ford Edge as a rental car for a month last year. Everyone else in this thread has nice things to say about the Edge because they are still driving an ICE vehicle sometimes. I'll tell you, when you go from essentially never...
I don't like this one either, but I would go the other direction. Just give me a few small buttons instead.
The shifter and the material feels cheap, like I'm in any Ford from the last decade.
