Check the tire pressure ?
Tire company I go to puts all 4 at 2.6 bar when I switch winter/summer.
The back gives away in almost every corner then, handling is real bad.
Putting the back wheels at 3.2 bar makes the car drive much better.
Took me 6 months to discover this :(
And if you drive...
My car (21 EU model) also sometimes gives a short screech. I have no idea what is the cause.
About once a month I have it, usually when I open the back door first (has a child seat installed in the back). Can't remember hearing it happening when I get in as the driver.
It's a short sound (less...
I put something similar (but smaller) on mine.
As for the why - increase visibility towards other cars, esp. if you have to take the kids out from the backseat in winter when its often dark.
Haven't driven much from Belgium to the Netherlands but I noticed something, and wonder if I'm correct.
In the Netherlands max speed on the highway is dependent on the time - during the day it's 100kmh, after 7pm it's 120 or 130.
In Belgium it's 120 always.
I've noticed if I drive from...
I have a standard RWD, for about 2 months now.
It's on winter tires - Bridgestone, so not an unknown cheap brand.
I understand well that in Untamed mode the car is designed to give a 'mustang feel' and it allows the back side breaks out.
But how should it behave in Active mode ? I usually...
bmw X1, bmw 2 active tourer, Renault Scenic (older and latest model), ford c-max, bmw 320
And they all have things I liked and would love to see in the Mach E :)
Also had it happen today. Was driving past a charger that I had used before, and both spaces were occupied.
Didn't happen when I drove past a charger I hadn't used yet (and it had a place free).
So I didn't think it was a bug, but the car letting me know the charger it knows wasn't free.
I also saw mine go into deep sleep a few times when I don't expect it to be.
Did you set preconditioning ?
I noticed it goes in deep sleep also when you remotely wake it up and then don't get in the car.
So I manually remote start it, it warms up for 10 minutes. After that it goes in deep...
The sign isn't wrong - it doesn't indicate a speed. It indicates you're leaving the city center.
It looks like this:
https://images.app.goo.gl/TNxReUEjVC6qcbQL8
The car recognises this sign correct but defaults to the wrong speed (90kmh).
When using cruise control I notice the car has an incorrect cruise control settings for Belgium.
It used to be 90kmh outside of cities.
This changed in Flanders in 2017 and in Brussels more recently. There it was reduced to 70kmh.
In the southern part of the country it didn't change and is...
Even my wifes Ford B-Max has it.. a car that costs a third of the Mach E.
I agree with all what the op says.
Folding mirrors I miss most. The Mach E is a wide car, here in Europe some streets are narrow.
On my CMax the mirrors were damaged 3 times whilst parked in the street where I lived...
Here's an idea for an improvement: many cities in Europe have blue zone parking restrictions.
You can park for free but are limited in time and need to set a parking disk (you turn it to the hour you arrive and lay it on the dashboard so it's visible).
If you forget to set it (or go over the...
Didn't Tesla invent pet mode because they use/used a standard lcd screen that can't handle extreme temperatures?
So they keep the car cool 'for your pet / comfort ' but it's really to stop the screen from going bad ?
Maybe I'm wrong but I think I read something about that once..
Anyway I...
