It makes sense. It is probably why I recently noticed occasionally a 1 Km/h on the speedometer versus zero when stopped in traffic or at a red light (1 pedal drive - not that it makes a difference).

Finally! Got Powerup 6.7.0 last evening and Frunk button works. My 2021 Job1 MME AWD Premium is also complete. Works on Ford pass and works with the door code - holding 7/8. No button on the Sync screen, but I am happy Frunk is now available without having to access the hand lever.

For info - Job 1 2021 Premium Ext Range. Just got 6.2.1 a few days ago. I see nothing in the update description that has made its way into my vehicle, even with a successful update. Example - no record feedback button ... I now have feedback on your lack of feedback button Ford!

I got 6.2.1 today and none of the info it describes are noticeable or truly in my 2021 J1 MME. I have no recording button and the bar at the top is the same width it was before the update. Why is the update description inaccurate?

I have had that 12V warning a hand full of time in three years, and mostly after washing the car, however, since the latest Powerup update, the 12V warning has popped twice in a week. Perhaps a ghost drain happening?

I spent an hour with Ford Customer service last week to get an update on Frunk. They could not provide any updated information; there is a lot more details here in the Forum. Ford recommended I contact the dealer (as per your message), however, my dealership has no idea what I am talking...

Yep, still no Frunk button for Job 1. Frunk button is becoming the Mach E Job 1 unicorn.

I did ask my dealer about the Frunk for Job 1 vehicles - service department had no idea what I was talking about. Hope is fading rapidly!

I never used it at home, but often turned the feature on while in town. Offered peace of mind while having diner or sitting at a movie. I liked the feature and used it occasionally.

It was the same price for me in British Columbia. Next check is recommended at 20k miles (32k Kms)

I can partially justify $600 for three years, but more than that for a feature used only on long road trips - hard pass. Ford will collect a lot less $ by pricing the BC feature out of reach.

Thanks for clarifying this - very useful. I logged into my Ford.ca page and got the updated info. My 2021 MachE BC was due to expire end of June 2023, but it now has been extended to the end of the year.
