My wife has a Telluride with wired CarPlay. Didn't want to have to plug in every time, so got the Carplay ottocast. It allows wireless connectivity. More buggy than even the Mach E wireless interface, even though OttoCast is pretty highly rated. She has to restart the phone constantly to get...
Job 1 here. Got the 23-PU0110-RAD-PS update overnight. Lo and behold, the frunk button showed up in Fordpass today. Maybe a happy coincidence, but it seems they are related. Android phone, no Fordpass update recently.
I have not had the updates done to add the button on the Sync screen, but I...
Went to the store this weekend with the wife and kids. Parked next to a space white (or silver?) MME GT. The GT was gone when we came out of the store.
After shopping and getting back in my car, I chuckled and started to get out. My wife asked "what's wrong?". I pointed to the red MME matchbox...
Mine failed on the first auto try. So I did it manually and it updated fine. I did have it plugged in during the manual update (and at maybe 35% charge) versus not plugged in for the overnight auto update. Not sure if that helped or not.
I exclusively use paak. Remote start a few times a week. May occasionally be close enough to connect via Bluetooth. 95% of the time it is in guest profile. Twice now recently it was in my profile. Still mostly guest profile.
HFBC worked for the first time today! Something in PowerUp 4.2.2 enabled it to work. I see nothing obvious in the release notes, but whatever it was seems to have "completed" my prior 21G01 updates.
***UPDATE***
Power Up 4.2.2 hit a couple of days ago. On my way to work this morning, the "BlueCruise Available" pop-up came up, as it always does on enabled highways. For fun, I engaged cruise control. Voila...Hands Free BlueCruise! And on the 2 year anniversary of buying the car.
I had also...
Add me to the list. Details in the link below. My dealer tried 21G01 twice without success. They unstuck my OTA updates, but did not result in BC. Been waiting for the 21G01 hold from December to be lifted to go back and try again. Got 4.2.1 today, so OTA continues to work. Just no BC.
A few...
Same observation for me. The original GOM was pretty accurate. Since 3.6.1 (or thereabouts), it always show 216 to 224 miles of range at 80%, which equates to 270 to 280 total range. Even though temps have been below 50 since November.
Actual range has been somewhere in the 180 to 200 or so...
I am having this on a near daily basis now. Can sometimes change back immediately, sometimes it takes a few mins. Sometimes, it happens repeatedly and I just leave it in Engage. Definitely seems related to one of the 4.x upgrades, as I had zero instances in my first 20+ months of ownership.
This happens periodically, though much more frequently in the last few weeks. For me, the solution is to reset Sync. Hold down the volume down button and the advance track button on the steering wheel simultaneously for 10ish seconds. Sync will go black and reboot.
This has worked 100% of the...
I use PAAK 100% of the time and have for nearly two years. Have to reset Sync once every 2-3 months when AA wireless fails. Simple reset solves it. Can do it while driving by just holding the advance track button and volume down button on the steering wheel at the same time for 5 or 10 seconds...
Yes, seems to default to engage mode when it happens. Had it go from whisper to engage once and a second time it went from unbridle to engage. Never happened pre 4.1.2 that I can recall.
The first time I noticed, as the car accelerated slightly without any change in input from me (1 pedal drive).
Just changed my vote as 4.1.2 rolled in this morning. Similar to others, it just showed up between my morning drive and my mid-day drive, even though OTAs are scheduled to run in the middle of the night. Got 4.1.1 maybe three or four days ago, for what that is worth.
Same situation for my Job 1 car. Got 21P22 late (October) and the door code "trick" works. I don't have the option through the main screen, though.
TBH, I am not sure if the frunk code option was enabled via 21P22 or an OTA update. I happened to try it after 21P22, but no idea when it actually...
In my experience, it took a few days and then I got several OTA updates in relatively rapid fashion. Started with 3.5.2 and up to 3.6.1. All within maybe 8 days or so.
Are you sure your dealer didn't update other modules? If they updated them during your visit, you won't get the OTA updates...
