I've had it get down to the high 11s. No aftermarket anything in the car. But the welcome lights and stuff are on when I'm checking that voltage so I've given it a bit of leeway. It has been charging while the car is on though.
I had covid early october and wasn't driving anywhere for a week...
Oof. I just got back to back to back updates on my car so I'm hoping that will help. I don't think I've gotten down to the 40s yet though. Here's hoping you can figure out your problem as painlessly as possible from here on out.
You ever solve your issue, OP? I think I'm starting to have similar-ish issues and I can't figure out why my battery is dropping so much overnight even while it's plugged in.
I walked out to find my car did the glitch where my lights stay on plus I felt like I was a few updates behind. I'm not usually one of the first to get an update, but it had felt like a while. So I decided to hook up my OBD dongle and check my 12v because I remember people saying the updates...
Jealous of the green being an option. But also happy to hear the LED lights are standard across the board now. I remember the lights on the Select being one of the few areas that safety ratings dinged the model. Only a slight ding but better safety is better.
Maybe it's always done this and I'm only noticing it now? But lately it's been pretty rainy here. I keep my wipers on auto which work fine. But I notice sometimes if I turn off the car when it's mid-wipe, instead of just finishing the wipe it was on and then going down, it leaves the wiper...
It was confusing the hell out of me while driving.
Although in hindsight and with headphones on instead of through the car speakers, it doesn't sound nearly as similar. But I swear it sounded like a low volume "Watch the Road" alert at the time! Like obviously not as loud or clear but I just...
I wish we'd be able to fully customize everything. Let me have Unbridled's acceleration mapping with Whisper's steering feel and Engaged's lack of screen animation if I want.
Make me menu dive for it even if they don't want to confuse "normies" who just want to get in and drive and maybe play...
It happens to me less than regularly but definitely more than twice since I've had the car. I figure I'll get it fixed at my next 10k checkup or if I have to bring it in for something else. But I'm also lucky that a few days without the car won't impact me all that badly.
For about a year I stuck with 2PD Engage. But lately I've been trying out 1PD again and for a while was really liking 1PD Whisper. But with the "Drive Mode Not Available" glitch throwing me into Engage and therefore speeding me up because of the different pedal mapping, Ive been playing around...
Checking in to say I've gotten this about 3 or 4 times now in the last couple of days/weeks.
At first I chalked it up to a random fluke but I guess it's some software issue now? Hoping an OTA eventually fixes this. Kinda freaky to be driving in Whisper and then have the car accelerate a bit...
So my heart doesn't bleed for annoyed Tesla drivers. That said, I obviously would prefer to not have to park like a dick and take up space if I don't have to. I've never charged a Tesla before. If we nose in is there really concern that the cable won't reach unless we park in one space over...
