I have owned 3 Explorers in my life, some amazingly reliable, some less than reliable.
Knew what I was getting into with a Mach-E First year, Job 1 2021 - purchased June 2021.
Like everyone else on this forum I started getting 'Adaptive Cruise Not Available' after a slight bump for a few...
That lurch forward happened to me. AEB did nearly nothing at 5-10mph, but that lurch forward cost me $2,000 to another driver and a bent hood.
Would be good for them to get that checked out and fixed - asap.
Someone whacked my door last week while charging, and didn't notice when moving it later that night far away because of a torrential downpour.
It really ruins the look of the door, anyone have suggestions for PDR in NJ? Right at that curve, and seems thin because it's dented moderately deep...
I oddly think that's what I became used to over the last 8+ months, especially for situations like this.
Noticed today after trying 50% brakes didn't really "grab" when on a steep decline.
I need to relearn the brakes on this thing. Someone mentioned the AEB doesn't really help once you're...
Agreed, I would have thought auto-brake, which is set to take action and 'moderate' IIRC would havre clamped the brakes, like it used to - sometimes accidentally when passing someone taking a turn.
I can only blame myself for not mashing the brake pedal earlier, but I did realize after, AEB...
No one's gonna come on here to tell us what a great weekend they had (with the exception of some trip logs)
A lot of us are IT engineers who are dealing with model year 1 of an electric vehicle, and trying to debug, or upgrade a lot ourselves.
Also winter did not help with the mileage...
Last month I recieved 2.4.2.
'We heard what you had to say and we took action. The brake pedal feel is modified to allow for smoother braking'
I've driven the car a few times since then, I've been remote and went in this week. Today on the parkway I tapped someone in traffic around 5-10mph.
I...
Conditions are worse however. Middle America states have vast amounts of area, and the equipment ready for it at all times, as it's predictable large amounts of snow.
We deal with nor'easters. Much less predictable, much harsher, more snow in less periods of time. NYC has to rig up garbage...
Nope, insult to injury someone found it YouTube works fine through the browser from a link embedded in SiriusXM's privacy page. They've hidden the web browser ability.
One thing that wouldn't work currently is Netflix due to the lack of any Widevine DRM in this Chromium build.
If Ford was...
We're at a point where I made $4,000 selling a Volvo lease that was detailed regularly, had CQuartz 3.0, but some paint chips.
I'm not spending $3k on PPF. Also we're at a point where used cars prices are up 30-40%
I use the AMMO NYC method and use a Gold Label Fine Line Painting Pen, or if...
Coming from a hobbyist detailer on weekends, etc. getting your car washed at the dealer is a bold move.
Some have a few kids with a bucket like @Murse-In-Airy mentioned, some just drive it to the nearest tunnel.
Ever wonder why some cars have wide large circular scratches? Car washes...
Oddly enough I moved the car this morning for people coming over today, around 10 feet up in the driveway
10 minutes after my scheduled time the lights came on out of no where for a few minutes and as of 9:54 it was updated!
Credit where it's due for recent OTA fixes. Not only have updates...
You can liberally spray on IronX / remover, let it dwell for 3-4 minutes and power-wash off, or even just microfiber off. It'll stink, means it's working.
After I'd wash, throw some more soap on, and clay during this. Then apply some protection, really anything TW Hybrid Solutions with ceramic...
That's what I thought too until a few weeks of failures and the only thing that hasn't changed is we've been remote, and due to another bug I'm unable to connect to WiFi either. Team that with the fact the time varies when I get the dreaded 'your Mach-E needs help to complete updates' when it...
Someone was kind enough to message me on the forum to see if it's properly 'stuck' or not, if you have an address let me know, I am on an EA vehicle that's been happy with updates until now.
I have had Verizon actually pinpoint me on a map saying I'm smack dab in an almost dead zone between...
'Computer says no'
I tried twice manually to trigger it April 7th and got out of the car without luck around 30 or so minutes later. Other times its up to 1-2 hours later, but on my scheduled times it keeps trying and failing. I'm starting to think my cell service is so piss poor it...
