I've replaced mine twice. First time it happened I took it to the dealer and they determined it was a stress fracture and it was replaced under warranty. It took several months to receive it (this was two years ago). Second time was because of rock damage and it was replaced by State Farm under...
Hello everyone.
Looking for opinions. Two weeks ago I brought my car to an L3 charger located 15 minutes from my house and the car charged without issue. Yesterday I did two hours of highway driving and when I stopped at an L3 charger (EA), the charging station couldn’t establish a connection...
I finally got BC working a week ago after two-and-a-half years of ownership. It's set to expire the end of this month, so I only had a couple of weeks to decide whether to keep it or not, but after taking a 120-mile trip yesterday, I've decided I will be subscribing to the $600/3-year...

Very similar situation happened to me on a trip from CT to VA last week. Stopped in NJ for a fast charge and my vehicle wouldn't accept L3 charging. I haven't used L3 charging since last Summer, but didn't think to check if before leaving the house. Tried an EVGo and an EA charger, but nothing...
Was hoping to find an answer in this thread. I’m currently “stuck” in NJ at an L1 charger for 10 hours (thanks to the recent reduction in L1 charging rates) because my car wouldn’t connect to any L3 chargers.
Planning a trip tomorrow morning and the FordPass app scheduled one stop with a charge to 74%. I sent the trip to the car and was wondering if the car will know to stop charging at 74%, or will I have to watch the SOC? Thanks.
Coworker has been on the fence for months now about buying either a Mach-e or a Lightning. After this week's announcement, he bought a Lightning yesterday off of the dealer's lot at the reduced pricing. I think there's still strong interest in EVs; people just know when they're being overcharged...
I've always wondered why Ford doesn't provide this. Most sport bikes have this capability, known as "Ride Mode", so they wouldn't be reinventing the wheel.
