This fits me - first time Ford buyer. If anything, I was hesitant because it was a Ford. A 3-year/36k mile warranty was a turn off, and the Mustang name was not a pro or con for me. But it seemed to be the best EV available (we already had a Tesla and loved it also) and it looked sweet!
Guess I went the opposite route. I used to refer to it as "Mach-e" but always had to repeat it because people hadn't heard of it and didn't know what I was saying. I now say the full name - Mustang Mach-e or electric Mustang.
The turn-by-turn will only display on my phone if I'm not in Android Auto. This feature I use pretty routinely, so it could cause me to sign up for connected nav. Thanks for the info.
I typically use Google Maps simply because I am usually on Android Auto for other features. However, when I I'm going somewhere I'm not familiar with, I like the native navigation because I can get a written list of turn-by-turn directions on the screen. I cannot seem to get this list of...
I must report that I had a surprising call today from the dealership I used to purchase my car. They called to remind me that I had the charge cord recall outstanding and to offer on-site mobile repair to take care of it next week. I let them know that I already had an appointment scheduled with...
I called the dealership today to get an appointment for the HVBJB. They said there is a backorder for parts and put in an order for my MME. Said I was their 4th backorder. They made my appointment for April 30 because they don't expect it in before that time.
I also used the text feature and received a response. I asked how long the 3 year/$600 HFBC offer would be available for early adopters. They acknowledged the question immediately and within two hours came back and responded that it would be available until it was used.
Helpful feature.
I'm surprised HFBC still works on your vehicle with a 12/31/23 expiration. Mine does not. Hands on, yes. Hands off, no. I definitely have been testing the "hands on" BC to see if it is too annoying to not have HFBC. Jury is still out.
Connected services shows that my navigation trial ends April 2024 (I'm a 2021 J1). That makes it seem as if there will be another fee in addition to BlueCruise. Or is it that the fee for navigation goes away if you renew BlueCruise?
@ARK I have not used navigation after the 6.8 update since I've been out of town. Definitely doesn't sound like something I would like. I really liked having the notice of the next turn in front of me, no matter the distance. No need for rushed moves.
Thanks for the heads up.
Yes, my clock was wrong as well, but not because of 6.13 since I don't have that yet. I don't know whether to attribute the incorrect time to an update or whether the dealership did something because my MME spent that day in the shop. I didn't notice the incorrect time until immediately after...
Had a Tesla first, and was sold on EV's at that point. We needed another car to replace my gas SUV, but I did not want to have two Teslas. MME came to the rescue!
