    Right?! Yes, I was pressing on the brake and still unable to put it in gear and odd that it felt the need to tell me ā€œfull accessory power availableā€ - had never seen that before, while displaying the red battery light. It put itself into deep sleep for some reasonā€¦ maybe time will tell.

    Well, Iā€˜m on my first road trip very far from home and now stranded for indef period of time as dealer tries to figure out what caused my 12 V battery to die.     Theyā€™re actually trying to sell me both; Iā€™m kind of with you on the extended warranty since itā€™s such a new car type but the service plan seems unecessary. Thanks man.

    Totally with you there. My dealership has no idea about what what theyā€™re trying to sell me covers. The extended warranties and the service plans were designed with non-electric cars in mind.

    thanks. Thatā€™s my thinking but itā€™s nice to know what others think too. Itā€™s like 3500$! I canā€™t see needing that many brake jobs!

    just bought my new Mach-e and dealer is offering up a prepaid service plan but since thereā€™s not much Ā« real Ā» servicing to do (if you read the list itā€™s mostly inspections and tire rotation) any thoughts on whether itā€™s worth it? Are brake jobs super expensive on these ponies? thanks
