In CT we pay personal property taxes on our vehicles. Since the value is established on Oct 1 we have been taxed on inflated MME values for 10/22 and 10/23 years.
We all know that operating an EV is different than ICE. You canāt just jump into an EV and intuitively know the controls or charging nuances. I test drove a Tesla Y and spent time trying to turn on the wipers instead of carefully driving the car. I had to pull over and call the salesman...
Print the attachment I posted on comment #77. On page 2 it gives the correct Ford Credit phone number. Time is of the essence for you. I wouldnāt wait 14 days for an answer. They can refinance a month early and roll the remaining payments into the refinance.
I had this happen after an OTA update. Make sure the location address on the top of Fordpass is the same as on your Home location.
in my case it charged to 100% once and then returned to recognizing the preferred settings. Thereās many threads on the forum on this subject.
The OPās ā21 Premium has features, park assist, foot-activated liftgate, that are not available on a ā23 MME.
If it was me, Iād refinance through Ford Credit and keep the low mileage MME. Then again, I donāt want a GTPE as Iāve outgrown my need for speed.
For me the Tesla Supercharger adapter and network is a game changer. All my regrets were due to lousy fast charging infrastructure in CT.
I have a ā21 Premium AWD ER built in June ā21 and have had no issues.
My observation is that the preconditioning is for a shorter time when the MME is unplugged.
For me the fully charged SOC doesnāt restrict the preconditioning, but if you say fully charged at 100%, then I donāt know since I only go to 95% in winter.
Does FordPass show the correct address at your HOME? It sounds like your location setting isnāt working. Publicās fast chargers never appear, only L1 & L2.
Even without P&C, the Blue Oval network allows you to initiate charging sessions on all chargers listed on the app. This is safer then having your cc on file with the various charger apps.
My utility also uses ev.energy. Iām in CT. As long as they are connected directly to the EVSE, and do not have your Fordpass login password, this isnāt causing your drain.
If for some reason you allowed ev.energy to login in to your FordPass account, call them and have the vehicle removed...
