  1. Watch! Interview: MME Chief Engineer Donna Dickson

See! This is what I’m talking about, Ford! You had a chance, and you are blowing it. Everyone knows that the only hardware change to 24 in terms of drive train/battery components is this new in house motor, that doesn’t have higher specs than the BorgWarner, other than maybe efficiency, and...
  2. Announced: 2024 Mach-E gets more range, faster charging + GT model gets optional Performance Upgrade: 0-60 mph in 3.3s. 1/4 Mile in 11.8s @ 114 mph

Yeah, Ford has abandoned current owners with this. The performance of your current GT/GTPE is what it is right now, the limiter isn’t going to be relaxed by Ford, they could, but they won’t. The calculation they have made after misleading their customers about the performance capabilities of...
  3. Watch! Interview: MME Chief Engineer Donna Dickson

I am going to have to agree with @SWO and I said if they hung us current owners out to dry on relaxing the limiter, I said I will never buy another Ford product again. Well, there you have it @Ford Motor Company , turning “true believers” and “conquest customers” into “never again”.
  4. Watch! Interview: MME Chief Engineer Donna Dickson

No, it really means that current owners are stuck with what they have. I am so frustrated. Ford never treated the early adopters right, marketing the product in one way “so fast it makes you sick” and never mentioning the huge performance limitation that was all software based and super...
  5. Watch! Interview: MME Chief Engineer Donna Dickson

This, and the answer is an acceptable one. At this point, it seems like Ford is going to turn their back on us current owners, and they don’t have to.
  6. Darren Palmer: 5-second limit on full power acceleration will be "changed"

We still waiting on these empty promises?
  7. New Benchmark for Sport EV-SUV Performance - 2025 Ioniq 5 N

Here’s my take: the Ionic 5 is a weird looking car. So is the EV6. The GT and N variety’s spank the GTPE on performance. But that’s it. Ford has a great car/cSUV in the MME, looks great, built great, but they totally neutered the vehicle on the top end. Don’t know when/if they will relax...
  8. How many times do you think you can run over your ESVE cord?

Is that the Included EVSE? People talk smack about it, but it’s serving me well. I also don’t run over the cable tho.
  9. Out of Spec discusses 2024 Mach-E Updates / Refresh

1 no 2 no, but there have been some decent aftermarket solutions, I have some nice 3d printed clips, but those are no longer being made/sold 3 two button trunk access currently, and it’s not too onerous once you get used to it 4 not sure, probably no, but I haven’t seen this as a problem 5 they...
  10. Estimated Range = 509 Miles

This forum is an amazing resource of knowledge, and yes, it would probably be best to avoid bringing the car into the dealership unless you have to.
  11. Announced: 2024 Mach-E gets more range, faster charging + GT model gets optional Performance Upgrade: 0-60 mph in 3.3s. 1/4 Mile in 11.8s @ 114 mph

I don’t think the human body is “total trash” in interpreting acceleration. I think some people are just willfully ignorant. And I do think the ability of people to judge acceleration varies greatly.
  12. Introducing the 2024 Mustang Mach-E Lineup

Not to mention, getting it at a less expensive price point, and we know it’s only software based, and the first wave of buyers were sold something that was slightly misrepresented by Ford. They need to make this up to the early adopters.
  13. Introducing the 2024 Mustang Mach-E Lineup

I don’t mind waiting, and I don’t mind a slightly scaled down version. My car doesn’t have to be the fastest Mach-E, but it also should live up to the performance name that was given to it by Ford. Cutting power significantly because it’s too cold outside (50 F), there’s been 5 seconds on...
  14. Introducing the 2024 Mustang Mach-E Lineup

This is the way. It would be nice if Ford sees that. All I want is a free OTA relaxing the limitation a bit, as promised. If there is an additional paid performance upgrade, I might do that too, and it would really restore the faith that all of the people who bought a “performance” model got...
  15. Anyone know what the 2024 GT upgrade gets you?

Yeah, but if they don’t? Lost a customer for life.
  16. Introducing the 2024 Mustang Mach-E Lineup

Ford should in good faith, extend this performance upgrade, which is really just software, to current owners of GT GTPE. We have stood behind this car and model through HVJB failures, bad dealership experiences, glass recalls, significant depreciation, and months of our cars in the shop. To...
  17. Announced: 2024 Mach-E gets more range, faster charging + GT model gets optional Performance Upgrade: 0-60 mph in 3.3s. 1/4 Mile in 11.8s @ 114 mph

I’m in the same boat. I would even shell out the nominal cost for an upgrade of performance. As for the supposed “hardware” improvement, the in house emotor is unlikely to be that much improved hardware wise over the Bog Warner, which Ford never truly unlocked. I get it, we bought what we...
  18. Announced: 2024 Mach-E gets more range, faster charging + GT model gets optional Performance Upgrade: 0-60 mph in 3.3s. 1/4 Mile in 11.8s @ 114 mph

Darren Palmer said they would, in a public interview, do I really hope you are wrong, but I am losing faith here @Ford Motor Company
  19. Announced: 2024 Mach-E gets more range, faster charging + GT model gets optional Performance Upgrade: 0-60 mph in 3.3s. 1/4 Mile in 11.8s @ 114 mph

If there isn’t any performance upgrade available to current GT owners I am going to be hideously frustrated and angry with Ford, and will feel like they have turned their backs on us true believers. The GT/PE is a great car, but its performance numbers up top always lacked.
