Sharing my experience for ChargePoint- They only have ChargePoint EVSEs at my workplace, I got the charge fault error months ago, and another today. (I use the chargers 1 or 2x a week.) Error message cleared after I left the car off for 10 min.
It works on Job 1 cars, but after the dealer updates the BCM - see this thread:

(I took mine in to fix the "front driver door button doesn't unlock vehicle until I press the rear door"...
Before reading this thread, I didn't know that you could unlock the frunk using the keypad on the door (press 7-8 after entering your doorpad code)
It lead me to this post with some other shortcuts...
Just wanted to add that I just experienced the same. (never had issues before with charging)
Plugged into a level 2 charger, charged for a minute, then charge fault. I came back (the car beside me on the same unit was still charging, so it's not the EVSE), unplugged and started the car -...
Has anyone in the Bellevue/Seattle area got their windshield recall taken care of? I called the dealership in Issaquah a few weeks ago and never heard back. Not in a rush, just wondering which place does a good job if anyone's already gone through this.
thanks!
Would like to know what caused this - is this because of the cold weather? - would appreciate an explanation from the mechanic whenever you get this fixed. I was hoping to take my car to for ski trips, but hearing this got me thinking twice.
sorry to hear about your troubles - sucks
I've heard good things about the external windshield treatment, I'll give that a try. thanks.
So you leave the ventilation on 'Auto' to get this working? I guess my issue is that I want to turn off ventilation completely immediately after the windows are defogged to conserve battery.
Thanks, I've never tried this either - I looked online and saw mixed results: https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/c/rain-x/rain-x-interior-glass-anti-fog/rnx0/630046?q=anti+fog&pos=0
Scotty also disapproves of defogger products: and recommends just cleaning the windows to reduce the likelihood...
Now that winter is upon us, the fog on the windshield forms very frequently.
I know how to defog the windshield on the touchscreen (and with the physical button too), but is there anything we can do to treat the windows to make them less likely to fog up?
(I really don't like the fact that it...
Can you point us to the posts where this occurs and how to do a power cycle in case this happens?
Great write up btw, thanks for taking the time to post this
You get 22,000 Points - (divide by 200 to get the actual dollar amount that you can redeem for parts/service). I got an additional 11,000 points 8 days after buying the car - no idea why.
Re: 'FordCash' - I think he was referring to the FordPass Points
Decline all the finance guy's upsells. I just let him talk about each of the items just to be courteous.
You can get all those things afterwards if you want.
The key fob programming costs one hour of service time. If the sales rep won't throw in an extra key. You can ask the service...
Phone as a key causes more problems than it solves and doesn't work nearly as reliably as the key fob. I also don't like how it drains the phone battery.
I ended up buying a 2nd key fob (for my wife) and paying the dealership to program it. paak problem solved
Closing the loop on this - I went to the same place where I purchased my Mach E (Evergreen Ford) and requested if the programming could be done at a lower cost (I just said that the car only came with one key) - the Service Advisor understood my concern, and while they couldn't do it for free...
