  1. Silver Bullet - Signing off

Back in the day you would get a bonus incentive in some markets for doing the options loan. It was a no brainer for anyone that was eligible for the bonus, basically free money.
  2. How To Get Failed OTAs To Install

24-PU0102-CHG-SUFX update has been failing for weeks. My 12v battery seems to be stuck between 60-72% even though I have a 45 min commute and charge from 50-85 almost every night. My Noco 3.5amp charger had zero effect (might try a higher amp one). Also Turned off parking mode on my dash cam but...
  3. I'm now certain my Mach-E safety systems are not working. - collision avoidance / brakes - I have zero confidence.

Idk about B. The regular cruise control likes to pickup speed in stop and go traffic whenever a bike splits lanes lol.
  4. Spoiler Installation Issue ... now what do i do?

It worked exactly as I would expect it to workā€¦ Iā€™m not sure if itā€™s possible in this specific application but usually you want to pull off the tape backing a little at a time. Most of the time you can pull it off while holding the spoiler in the exact location you want it.
  5. My Mache is down to 32%

You paid 50k for a rwd select?? After all the discounts/rebates I was OTD for like 35k for a 21 rwd select with California tax lol. Taxes and rebates donā€™t count towards your car value btw.
  6. Suma Mirrors | āš”Reduce Blind Spots & Glareāš” šŸ‘€

As a motorcycle rider in California, I strongly dislike the idea of moving your mirrors out instead of keeping a sliver of vision to the rear. That sliver allows you to see motorcycles that are splitting lanes. Your center rear view mirror cannot see past the car behind out.
  7. 2022 cyber orange stolen from my driveway (FOUND) [āš ļø ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Absolutely. Only Europe gets the fancy fobs that go to sleep.
  8. 2022 cyber orange stolen from my driveway (FOUND) [āš ļø ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

They canā€™t ā€œstoreā€ the code. Itā€™s a rolling code, manufactures were a little smart lol. It only works when the key is within range. After they have driven away, As soon as they open the door or put it in park the vehicle will get stuck in park. Some cars will actually let you restart the vehicle...
  9. 2022 cyber orange stolen from my driveway (FOUND) [āš ļø ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Highly doubt it. Cheaper to buy a relay device. Heck most people canā€™t even figure out how to get these on a tow truck WITH the keys šŸ˜‚.
  10. 2022 cyber orange stolen from my driveway (FOUND) [āš ļø ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

I have to say that Europe moves a lot faster with various vehicle regulations. oops, we accidentally made cars easier to steal with keyless fobs. Europe-letā€™s just disable the fob when itā€™s not moving. USA- I see no problem here! you know the US still doesnā€™t have immobilizer keys on motorcycles.
  11. 2022 cyber orange stolen from my driveway (FOUND) [āš ļø ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Do you use Paak or the fob? Iā€™m assuming they just use a relay device with a nearby fob but would be interesting to know if they might have gotten it with paak. On the plus side, at least you didnā€™t get robbed on the way to work. That seems to be the new thing in Oakland.
  12. How to Escape Your Car If the Electronic Door Release Fails ???

Yep, failed door modules can cause interesting results. Had a single door module fail on a ford truck at work. It completely disabled all unlocking from the fob. The key slot is electronic which also got disabled so we couldnā€™t unlock any of the doors with the key. Had to slim Jim it open lol...
  13. Insurance

For me, AAA has always been more expensive by a very large margin. Everyone will be different, you simply canā€™t compare insurance prices between people because there are way too many factors. OP just email brokers and use the many insurance comparison sites. Itā€™s the only way to know. For me...
  14. One pedal braking

1PD will also use the physical brakes under certain circumstances like cold batteries( this way 1PD always acts as expected). Cruise control also uses physical brakes to maintain speed and make small changes, then regen for slightly more braking, then finally back to physical brakes for heavy...
  15. One pedal braking

Just use it and it will become second nature. Youā€™ll be able to come to a stop exactly where you want and youā€™ll know when you need to switch to the brake for extra stopping power (people have been doing this with manual transmissions since the car was invented). It takes a few miles to get used...
  16. Tire chains / cables recommendations

FYI, in California AWD/4WD isnā€™t enough to bypass chain control. You need snow rated tires. Everyone ignores that part lol.
  17. Ford 360 is not Bluecruise

The regular assist 2.0 is more than adequate in my mind. Plus you donā€™t have to pay $800/year to use it lol. Remember, there are currently no consumer self driving cars.
  18. A Ford EV expert is now only a text away

@Ford Motor Company can we use this new feature to report all the software bugs? Like how the ā€œdisable motion sensorā€ popup still does nothing even after the update claimed it fixed that problem? Haha
  19. Are Grizzle chargers trash now?

Over two years on my avalanche version. Sits in direct California sunlight. Not a single blip since day one. Definitely more reliable than the actual car lmao.
