When I bought my last license a week ago, it starts as soon as you pay for the license. I did mine on Friday at 2:00pm, and it expired at 2:00pm on Sunday. Luckily I was finished with all my updates Sunday morning so it worked out perfectly. Thanks, Ken~

I finally have BC! Just got back from testing and worked perfectly. I ended up doing the rest of the updates myself as the 2.8.1 showed as failed. I didn't want to wait for the OTA to try again. It was worth it for sure and learned A LOT about FDRS. Thanks, Ken~

I just finished doing this update myself and I am on the last step per the direction to go into the Toolbox tab, and perform 2 hard resets from FDRS main menu. I am not seeing this option anyplace..? Anyone have any tips on where this hard reset option is? Thanks, Ken~

FYI, I received my first OTA update the other day! Now shows I am on 2.7.1 so means I am officially unstuck from 1.7.1 update. Depending on my work schedule next week I might try to tackle more updates now that I have the process down. Also going to cut the battery access holes this time...

It's worth it I feel. I only did the 48hr license as I don't plan to update the car that often. Figure 2 or 3 times a year when major releases come out. After getting myself unstuck from 1.7.1 last Sat I received my first OTA and now on 2.7.1. Hopefully means more updates will continue...
