Honestly, if they can sync wirelessly that changes things, about time for features like that! It will probably still be a bit of pain, but my best guess is tapping the 12v like HuntingPudel suggested and then it depends on where you will mount it. If you want top middle of rear window, you'll...
I have a thinkware as well, it is a pain to wire up front and rear, but I think that pain is less than the trouble you'll go to trying to wire the rear camera and then having to manage two separate cameras.
I also have their lfp battery add-on for continuous recording when the car is off.
I have a 22 GTPE with 31k miles, 99% SoH, plugged in virtually every single day with a charge limit set. I use PaaK exclusively and I don't turn it off at home. You may be overthinking what you read in the manual in regards to charging.
Sorry, I'm not reading all of that. Please choose whichever reply below applies to your post.
Congratulations, I'm happy for you.
(or)
I'm sorry that happened to you.
It's a customer service team, so not always the same Ford person answering which probably explains some of the different experiences. Mine was the rear camera going out.
Agree with good luck to the OP though, not a good situation!
Maybe, maybe not. I had an issue on my original MME, interacted with Ford through this forum, they set up all my service appointments, paid for one month of my car payment, and gave me a small gift of a free maintainence plan when I traded in the vehicle for a newer MME.
Sadly, everyone's...
Still got them, looks like I have all the pieces. I wasn't sure on the clips but I had extra so I threw some extras in. The mudflaps were never used on my vehicle, I had started to install but never did.
The only thing I would be a little worried about is if the mudflaps fit all years. Take a...
I never bothered! I traded in my Select August 22 for a GTPE, and then ordered another set of AOSK flaps. 🤣🤣🤣
The OEMs are somewhere in my garage still hahaha.
I had a 21 Select without Blue Cruise and I have a 22 GTPE currently also without Blue Cruise. I don't think it was until the 23 model year did all the cars come with it.
Curious how low the tire pressure was as well. Low tire pressure will increase rolling resistance leading to lower efficiency, and when it's cold you are most likely under inflated.
I would also just say was there anything on the floor at all the possibly could have shifted and hit or blocked either of the pedals? Floor mats are the obvious target, but really anything if it is the right size and goes to the right spot could cause an issue. Purse, shoes, umbrella, package...
Enjoyed a lot of your posts even if I didn't agree with all of them. Forums are more fun when there is a bit of spice in them too, never had a problem with your tone.
I can't blame you for moving on at all, I've been lucky and I know it based on this forum with my experience (knocking on wood)...
I definitely respect the personal experience part, but media is all over the place nonsensical on EVs for and against. Like most things, reality probably lies somewhere in the middle of both stances.
I'll answer your survey without selecting an option. I am 100% all in on EVs. I have about...
I think this poll would be more interesting with just Yes, No, Other as the option without the extra commentary. This isn't a binary choice of Yes EVs are perfect or No EVs aren't a functional product...
It says it is $79,990 on that site if you click purchase price. They are suggesting "$11,100" in probable savings.
Edit: They are assuming you'll be eligible for the $7,500 Federal Tax Credit and get $3,600 on fuel savings over the course of three years as compared to an ICE vehicle.
Yep, same reason I did it. I was going to get gloss but the Twraps guy mentioned those may also show scratching. I really like the matte look. Here is a recent picture, you can see a little crease at the bottom I am just going to cut off with a blade.
