I think the fact of the matter is, when people shell out $60k for a vehicle, you'd expect it to work as advertised - especially when you're, you know, trying to start your vehicle. It's laughable. "Settling" for faults in a brand new car gives Ford zero incentive to fix this sh*t.
I wonder if this has anything to do with the rumored dates for production year models. 9/3 was supposed to be the date for final orders on the 2021 MY. Wishful thinking is that those dates hold true and this was Ford dinking around with their website. Who knows.
Ford just stopped taking online reservations for Broncos too. It's impossible to buy just about anything these days. Computer components, Xboxes and Playstations, etc. I wouldn't be too fast to throw Ford under the bus. Everyone is handling it best they can.
Well this is disappointing. I was hoping to put an order in this month and now it's pushed back another 2 weeks. I suppose in the grand scheme of waiting, 2 weeks isn't much.
I was thinking of getting a mach-e GT, but this is concerning. I'd really like to know how Ford came up with the numbers they advertised. Being a little bit off is one thing, but this is rather substantial. It makes the "GT" badge sort of a joke.
Looking for some advice/opinions. I'm interested in ordering a Mach-E GT, but I really would like a 2022 model since we're so close to the "rumored" 2022 order date. However, some people speculate that some of the 2021 orders are going to be turned into 2022 orders like folks are seeing with...
Blame Dave Ramsey for my mindset :D. I'm debt free, worry free, and am not a slave to the lenders. When I had debt I CONSTANTLY worried about what I'd do with 3 kids in private school if I lost my job. Not anymore.
I haven't had a car payment in over a decade. How is that leaving money on the...
Agreed. I learned that if you don't have the money to buy something up front, you really have no business buying it with the bank's money. Only exception I made was on our home.
I've seen quite a few threads with comments indicating that people don't see the MME as a car they anticipate owning, "long term".
Curious - if you feel that way, what brought you to that conclusion? I buy vehicles to last (Current vehicle is an 07 Camry). Is it a reliability issue? Comfort...
