I hate the suspension/ride of my GT. By far the worse part of the car. When it's a perfect road it's the most smooth ride of my life. Any imperfections ( like most of any drive) is just a totally different experience. Really just short of a beat up U-Haul truck. I really regret not going PE in...
I would have ? crossed shopped an EV6 GT as well lf it was out. I will test drive one when/if they hit lots. If it a better package than my MME GT (software, performance etc), then it's getting traded.
Yeah, keeping my covers on for sure. Especially with the center cap situation still unsolved. Great to know it can be done easily through. I really like the look of the covers even more since having the car than when I didn't. And I liked them then as well. PE wheels subjectively looks better...
I have a picture of my GT on the app, but only the horn and light button. I have very little interest in setting up and using Paak, so I guess I will not have that functionality on my phone until I change my mind or Ford changes theirs.
For me, I think so. its just super wax that stays on your car near perpetually if you maintain it with polymer products a few times a month. My car is not garaged and gets exposed to NE winters, tree sap and birds. I plan on getting a cover, but want max paint protection for my brand new baby...
What! That is super quick. I'm in PA with a DMG GT shipped 9/18 that's not scheduled to arrive until between 10/25 and 10/31. Lucky you for sure. Enjoy!
Here is my setup. Don't even have my car yet, but the unit is outdoor rated so it should be find. Was going to put a dual plug unit on a post at the end of the driveway, but the charge point is very compact and stores the cord on itself. Saves a lot of space.
Do you know your priority code? Mine was 10, which is the lowest a dealer can set it themselves apparently. Just trying to figure out if that actually matters at all.
Mine was shipped 9-18 and arrived in KC MO today. Next stop Birmingham MO? I assume to get ready to head east to Delaware where it will be trucked to my dealer in Philly?
I think that's just the standard 30 days max shipping travel timeframe ford normally uses when not in a global pandemic and chip shortage. Mine says the same thing.
Maybe not all of them can? Like lower volume dealers or dealers who don't sell a ton of mustangs? My buddy worked at a Chevy dealer and they were able to get a C8 allocation mainly because they sold a lot of vets. All types of weird shit like that in dealers. Add the first attempt at a can't...
Im sure. My dealer gave it to me after I came in to complete the online order. Priority code is right in the top middle of the form. Someone on the forum explained the 10 is the lowest a dealer can set an order. Some have posted as high as 19 if I remember correctly. Has to mean something, even...
What is your priority code on your order sheet? People are saying that dealer allocation does not matter, but it has to to some degree. I ordered mine from the #1 volume dealer in my area and my code has been 10 from the onset. Maybe that is one of the factors?
Yeah, as a self proclaimed stop sign racer I plan on taking delivery of my GT as well. Little disappointed that my GT is as fast as my wife's pending MY LR, but at least Ill love the look of the car I'm in. Will probably finance instead of options so it will be easier to get out of if I want...
