EV tyres absolutely have differences to 'Normal' tyres. Beyond the things mentioned above there is more consideration given to tread block arrangement and internal sound dampening to help with overall noise levels. When it comes to replacing my tyres I'll be putting EV designated tyres on.

Given the changes which are made in EV specific tyres I would be weary about fitting non EV specific products. There is more to EV specific tyres than I originally thought, not just road noise considerations but weight loading, tread patterns, sidewall etc etc

As stated remote start is cabin condition only. It will also auto turn off after a short period of time (5 minutes?) You also cannot actually drive the car from remote start.

Juat to throw my 2 pence in. The Ford mat isnt cheap but its absolutely worth it. Doesnt move an inch and is perfectly fits the lower position space with 0 gaps. I have the boot liner and all cabin mats and couldn't be happier.
