Just got this yesterday morning on my 2021 job 1. This was probably the worst UI change they could have done. Remove all cool graphics to the different modes and place a useless car in the middle. I literally engaged cruise accidentally because I was trying to turn it off thinking it was on...
I don't know about others, but my utility company has probably the best EV incentive program around. Peak hours are only 2-7pm on weekdays. All weekends, holidays, and any hour outside of 2-7pm on weekdays is only $.03 per kWh. I couldn't believe either so I asked. They confirmed that is...
I have't had this issue in several months and today it was happening almost my entire drive to drop off the kids. I have no idea what causes this but it's super annoying.
I've had this happen as well except there were open chargers available, so I was even more mad about the situation because it made even less sense that they unplugged me and there were chargers available. They got an earful when I got back to my car. I'd be surprised if they ever did that again.
I've found that it keeps the heat out really well. Been in all day heat going to a theme park and did not feel near as hot as an ice car. That being said, do not touch the glass from the outside or inside as it is very very hot.
Received this last night. I find it hilarious that this update aims to eliminate the presets being shuffled and then it proceeds to mess them up. You can't make this up at this point.
Just an update, I still have had no issues even on days where driving directly into the sun. It seems the padding I put between the glass top and the wires did the trick. I can't believe something so simple was causing those errors.
Since putting in the piece of foam between the wire and the glass, I have had no problems with the error messages. There were certain roads I commute on that would have a big bump that would almost always throw the ACC off and send those error messages. This seems to have fixed these issues...
I can say I haven't been to the dealer since last summer at the earliest. No idea why it worked on mine as others stated they went to the dealer much more recent. I believe my most recent update was 4.2.4.
Had our glass roof since August 2021, the glass itself does get very hot if sitting in the summer sun. The glass does a great job not sending that heat into the vehicle itself. It acts like a shield for the heat. So all in all, you'll love the glass roof, just don't physically touch it if it's...
If everyone thinks it's crazy to be unplugged while at a free level 2 charger, try being unplugged at an EA DC fast charger. Yes, this is true and it happened. The lady tried to say that it said I reached 80% and that I was done. That was true but I needed more for the leg of the trip I was on...
