Oh?
I had my dealer order the part using the recall part number with the idea that I'd bring the car in again for the same work🙄. All this just to clear the recall and get some free stuff 😁.
My car has been fine since the work in October. I should probably follow the wisdom of if it ain't...
So even though I had my HVBJB replaced back in October, I'm still on the recall list. I went into the dealership that did the work. Apparently, the part number on my service does not match the part number on the recall because Ford can change that (the number for the part) when a recall is...
In NH, cops almost never pull you over as long as you are no more 10mph over the limit. In fact, I visited the Department of Safety's website and it actually says, in a round about way, that 10mph over the limit is legal. Been testing that for years and it seems to hold true. 😁
At 15 over, I've...
I'm at 30K on the odometer. Yes I had a brief hydroplane experience last week. Very brief though so I'm not feeling overly sketched out by the condition of my tires. Yet. I think the CC2'S are less noisy than the Pilots and I don't feel the pilots are all that loud.
I'm very curious about the...
It is the opposite for me. I'm much more concerned with grip and road noise. At the end of a typical winter day I'm usually around 60-70% SoC (I only charge to 85%) and then I'm back on the charger at home. A "long" drive for me is 100 miles round trip. My ER battery is overkill. I just passed...
I'll just wait for my Tesla/Ford OEM adapter. Purportedly arriving in June which is fine. I rarely use DCFC and I think the two Superchargers near me are V2 anyway. They don't show up in Ford Pass at any rate.
Nice to see Ford moving forward with design and engineering. Things in the BEV space are getting so competitive it's great. Nice range and chargeing bumps for sure. I expect those numbers will continue to creep upwards. Eeking out slightly better numbers is something car makers are actually...
Dayum. That sounds truly awful. I've yet to take a really long drive but if hunting for a charger and waiting while charging is the worst thing I'd have to deal with on the road, I think I'd have it pretty good.
Seeing more of both Rivian's and Lightnings on the road here in NH. Get one of each 😜
I plan to keep my MME for as long as possible to squeeze as much value out of it as I can (quality of life not just monetary). By the time I'm ready to buy another BEV (never going back to gasoline 🤮), it'll be a whole new world 😁.
With the reduced pricing, I can only imagine it is still sizeable. However the total loss on the division was around $4 billion (2023), I believe, against cash on hand of $40 billion. Ford can probably weather the storm a bit longer.
I've got a 2022 and BC expires May of 2025. I admit I will miss it. I don't use it for long stretched often. More often for things like getting my jacket off while driving (click on and then click off). But even in that manner, it is a nice tool to have. It's just not $800/year nice. I'm not...
Wow some people really have too much free time
Um, yah, okay I'll take advice about the 2nd biggest consumer purchase one can make next to a house from a total stranger who leaves a note on my windshield.
