    Seat Material Cracking

I use Simonize to protect the dash and seats, and the paint. It works well and also protects and keeps dirt from sticking. The dealer applied it to my first Mach-E and it worked so well that I use it on all my vehicles including my 22' GT. Here is the link if you are interested and I have no...

Here we go again! HVBJB 2x?

I recommend opening a case with the BEV team to help move things along. The information is in the main HVBJB thread. Good luck!

2022 GT HVBJB at 4600 miles

Hopefully, this new part holds up, so far it has done well even after me testing it. Nice to hear that the repairs are being completed in a timely manner.

I tried to kill my HVBJB and failed. I can’t wait to try again!

Ford should watch this thread since the cars are being tested. I drove mine to the DC Auto show today which is a 140 mile round trip. The car was flawless even cruising at 75 to 80 and several hard accelerations in the city and highway.

I tried to kill my HVBJB and failed. I can’t wait to try again!

I have been testing my “new” HVBJB, so far so good. I am not going to alter my habits nor am I abusing my car, if it fails again now I know my dealer can replace it. Also, when mine failed, I was driving normally and did not drive hard at all for over a week since I was commuting to work. Temp...

2022 GT HVBJB at 4600 miles

I think the part number is: LK9Z 10C666 B Named “connector” I suppose this is the B version if this is the part? Is there a C version for the GT?

Per Study, ICE fueling costs fall below price of EV charging

I do not know my home charging rate however, at 4.27 per gallon (premium) and a highway average of 25mpg, I am confident that I pay less than $17.08 to charge to the percentage to cover 100 miles.

Stop Safely Now (HVBJB): Mach-E Owners Biggest Fear - Facts and Info Thread

I just went through this and picked up my Mach-E GT today. If you end up with this issue, read page 1 of this thread and follow the recommendations. Again, thank you to @DevSecOps and everyone who has contributed. While not ideal, Ford is making an effort and the BEV team was helpful as was the...

2022 GT HVBJB at 4600 miles

1/26 - Day 9 - Done! Kudos to Ford in Front Royal! Car drives perfectly and overall, the time was less than I initially anticipated. Hopefully , the new part holds up, but if it doesn’t then at least I know my dealer can perform the repair. I am happy to have my car back, especially with gas...

2022 GT HVBJB at 4600 miles

1/26 - Day 9 - The Ford BEV rep called and told me that my car will be done today. I saw that the dealer drove it, so all in all this was completed much faster than I anticipated. Hopefully, the new HVBJB will hold up. If it doesn’t, at least I know my dealer can perform the replacement. Thank...

2022 GT HVBJB at 4600 miles

1/25 - Day 8 - Progress is being made, the alerts are now clear. The mileage is still the same, so it seems it is close but not 100% ready. Even so, this is progress, which I am happy about. If all goes well, I will add the dealership to the map for others to reference along with the...

2022 GT HVBJB at 4600 miles

I was surprised that the part arrived last week, I was worried when I saw another post that said the part did not have any ETA. I anticipated a month for this to be resolved so I agree that it is moving at a good pace so far.

2022 GT HVBJB at 4600 miles

1/24 - Day 7 - Update: The dealer started work on my car late in the day, now we’ll see how this goes. Small step forward at last. As of tomorrow it will be 2 weeks that my car has been down and today marks one week since I dropped it off at the dealership.

2022 GT HVBJB at 4600 miles

1/24 - Day 7 My car was supposed to have the HVBJB replacement started today, but it was still sitting outside, so we’ll see if it gets done this week. 🍀 The BEV rep is going to call the dealer tomorrow for a time estimate. For now I am driving my second car, so I am lucky to have the option.

What do you think is the chance of 150k+ miles?

Good points, Toyota and VW are supposedly in the development of solid-state batteries. Of course, nobody has any type of exact timeline, so as you said, it could be 10 years before we see solid-state batteries begin to appear in vehicles. The current batteries are the start, it will be...

What do you think is the chance of 150k+ miles?

150k miles, from a battery and motor perspective, yes. Solid State batteries will cause a shift once they are used due to their charge speed and overall improvement in range for hot and cold temperatures. Once they are placed in vehicles, the lithium ion battery powered EVs will lose their...

    Highest Mileage Mach-E? Your experience?

My first MME AWD X - 20,000 miles with no issues and I drove it hard. My current MME GT suffered the HVBJB at 4600 miles and is currently at the dealership and "should" be done this week. Oddly enough, I haven't driven my MME GT hard at all, maybe 1 to 2 launches. I bought it used and only...

Highest mileage Mach-E on this forum?

20K on my 2021 MMEX AWD - 0 issues and driven hard **SOLD** Current: 4600 on my 2022 MME GT (HVBJB failed) Hoping I get it back this week if all goes well.

Is there way to tell if a used GT has the updated HVBJB?

@heisnuts said his part was the "C" part, I may be wrong, but I think the post May build 22 cars may have the "B" part, which may fail. Your dealer should be able to look up your VIN and detail all work performed on the car. It is too early to tell if the C iteration of the part will...
