I got this error for the first time today but also in conjunction with many other faults (no brake assist, pedestrian cross check, no hill assist). It drives but I feel the steering is tighter like there isn't as much power steering. Is this problem different? It just showed up an hour ago...
Someone directed me to this thread for a "service car soon" message I've gotten each time I start the car over the last two days. I have an appointment scheduled, but not for 10 days. I wonder if I need to worry about it in the meantime and try to get that appointment pushed up.

This is helpful. Can you tell me what PTS is so I can at least know when I call? They couldn't get me in for 10 days and I'd like to have someone run it via the VIN to let me know if I need to worry about it before then. My Ford service generally gets that spooked look in their eyes when...
Is this ever a warning that shows at a prescribed time? I have 16,600 miles and it's just come on in the last day. I didn't think there was much in the way of regular maintenance so I assume this was actually triggered by a diagnostic flag in the software. I'm pretty sure I'm up to date on...
Well, it didn't last. In the afternoon it didn't open my car. I closed and opened the Ford app. Nothing. I unlocked the doors with the Ford app and then entered my password to start the car.
I'm back to my spare fob.
So I have it working and used it this morning. I did have to open the Ford app before it unlocked my door.
While I'm at work my phone has a key icon notification. Does anybody know what this specifically means? Is it actively communicating with my car (and thus the car could be opened by...
Well, I'm not encouraged. I tried to set it up and I keep winding up in a circular loop that gets nowhere. I get a message that says, "LIMITED SUPPORT FOR THIS DEVICE" Phone as a key will still function, but we're still working to optimize the experience". When I click proceed with setup it...
When I first got my MME in late 2021 the threads about PAAK were pretty negative and so I never bothered to try it out. Has the app matured enough that it's a better experience now? I have one of my two fobs currently AWOL in my house and it has me wondering about PAAK.
Thoughts?
Didn't read the whole thread, but has anybody questioned the accuracy of measuring air temperature with something that's meant to measure liquid or solid?
Well, I was super surprised today. I videoed myself covering my eyes with my hands starting at 0:02 and I didn't get a warning until 0:20, a whole 18 seconds later. Blue Cruise did not disable with the warning but rather gave me a chance to show my eyes. That seems oddly long, though I can't...
I've timed my personal experience with the eye warning by covering my eyes with my hands (while peeking through the slits between fingers). I can count to seven before I get a warning.
I'll have to try it again after the latest BC update because I do feel that overall BC has been less happy...
Interestingly I learned that if I can coax the car into BlueCruise BEFORE I hit the new pavement (it's about 0.1-0.2 miles from my onramp), it will stay in BlueCruise while in the newly paved lane. At the least that seems to indicate it isn't some flag that doesn't allow it to be active while...
Just a repave. The lane hasn't moved or changed at all and it's about as clear of extranous data as possible for a road being brand new. As I previously mentioned, I used BlueCruise in that lane without trouble for over six months. Now with the new asphalt, no BlueCruise.
I have about a five mile commute on the I-5 to work. It's a straight stretch and in the year I have had my MME I haven't had trouble with engaging BlueCruise (and no trouble with it handling the road). Then, two months ago, they repaved the right lane. At first, there were no stripes and I...
I use BlueCruise daily and I've noticed it will also have you take control if there is a "blind" onramp. In other words, if cars are entering the freeway and the sensors can't see them, it will have you take control. I think these are pre-ordained spots it will almost always ask you to take...
I just noticed this today while washing the car. It seems to be on the outer layer of glass. I don't know how long it has been there. Does anything point to defect that should/would be covered under warranty? or am I just going to hear that this was a rock on the road and I'll need to...
I have a Job 2 2021 Premium which has received the 21S22 update (at the dealer). I have automatic updates set to early Saturday morning and I have wifi which reaches my garage.
I have never seen an OTA update. Well, that's not 100% true. I did receive a BlueCruise map update 2-3 months ago...
I'd disagree. If you exit the door and go directly to your trunk the doors will probably not all lock as you are still within range of the car. I generally find the doors lock (and horn honks) when I'm 30-40 feet away.
I'm sure there is no perfect answer for all scenarios. If all doors...
