I got a 60+ page report - They took it apart to diagnose, and found 2 arrays or cells were leaking? Had to get them replaced and there was a whole load of tests for the battery and it seems like they eventually got the parts and replaced the two arrays. Overheat --> cell split open --> leak...
Okay so I've got all of that except the locking nut key then - I've got the 4 wheel nuts - I see you've got your key there I think. Thanks for the pic appreciate it! I've messaged and called Ford CRC they're on it now.
This is all I've got - I think the item wrapped is the tyre sealant and inflator kit (looks like it from the manual) and then the 4 bolts and locking key missing.
I've emailed Ford CRC about it.. so they've misplaced my AC charger cable and locking key. Not great!
Thanks for checking - I have looked all over the car, all stowage areas and can't finf the locking wheel nut key.
The locking wheel nut key is the main thing I was expecting but I did notice there's stowage for other items and they're empty so one item missing made me think, what else?
Hi
I just got my mach E back from the dealership (after 6 months ... HVJB issue).. and wondering if I'm missing anything from the stowage under the load floor in the boot. I can't find my locking wheel nut key and there seem to be items missing, can someone please check theirs and confirm...
I've finally received my car back after almost 6 months... (and what a relief to be driving it again, I still love this car) appearing to be in working order, not received any paperwork from Ford, so no idea what they actually did. Will be pursuing this.
Thanks for the support
Update on my situation - Into my 6th month now without my vehicle and the final part (some kind of sealant) has finally arrived and now they're chasing to find a technician/engineer that's qualified for it apparently... so no idea how long that's going to take and just been told "soon". You'd...
Since August - and @Mach-Lee Ford did inform me it was the HVJB actually now that I've checked my emails, perhaps there could have been more as well to it, as they did mention an "array".
I'm in the UK though so maybe it's slower to get things done here (parts maybe have to get shipped over who...
well so far I’ve been provided with a rental car (a petrol mini) and they’ve reimbursed me for the fuel. Still no Mach E (and still having to pay monthly payments) and massive inconvenience with constant emails and phones weekly - what a nightmare. Further compensation under negotiation.
Just found out my car has had in total 4 parts required - 3 out of 4 arrived and the 4th part is some kind of glue? The car is fixed but they need to glue something - no idea what and I'm waiting for that glue till mid-Jan now with it falling in the holiday period. So that'll take me being with...
I didn’t - not sure how to do that?
I just got an update saying it’s going to take a further 4 weeks… so I’m looking at January. This is just nuts. In the meantime I’m having to pay Ford credit for a car I still don’t have. Almost 4 months now.
Apparently 4 parts ordered. 3 arrived and waiting...
Update on mine - my car's been broke since 15th August - just got an email today that I've a further 4 week wait for the part (originally told 6-8 weeks in the beginning of October). Not sure what to do.. considering rejecting the car, will be speaking to the finance company to discuss options...
They've mentioned compensation and I beleive on a previous call "refund" for time away from vehicle, so I'll be requesting transcripts under GDPR if they try to wiggle out of it. Separately Ford Mach E CRC have mentioned refund for fuel payments, and I'll be also getting transcripts if they try...
Still waiting here - going onto the 6th week now, dealership is still paying for the rental car, been told fuel will be refunded out of "goodwill" so I'm keeping the receipts. Furthermore Ford credit have now offered to refund the time I've been without my vehicle and worst case if this isn't...
Still no joy here. Last update was that my car is being transported to some technical centre - I’m guessing the dealership doesn’t have the equipment nor the expertise to deal with this. In the meantime I’ve a rental car that’s not like for like and I’m still paying monthly for a Mach E which I...
mada - sorry to hear and I feel your pain. It sounds like I was a bit more lucky, though Ford Assist weren't too helpful saying even though it was under warranty, I wasn't on their system so I don't think they'd have helped me directly, but thankfully I used my own AA cover and managed to get...
@WyldStallyn did run it and “P0AA6 with no P0ADE so shouldn't be HVBJB” - wondering why the dealership didn’t pick this up? I might give Ford customer care a call/email and see what they say about it.
Update: gave them a call "still diagnosing it" and Ford CC saying they're waiting for a...
