For what it's worth... I'd take Ford up on a clean swap of my original '21 GT PE (only 8,200 miles) with the new 2024 GT PU model and take it on the track at first chance. I'd even throw in the spare set of tires. :)
Many issues going on... Charge time and frequency goes up dramatically in extreme cold. My MME Select is now only about 1.6 miles per kWh here in Iowa (brutal cold spell, below zero as highs and down to -15 nightly). Quite poor. At 68kWh, that's only a range at 95% charge of 106 miles. That...
Dang... My first delivery GT PE (Aug, 2021) was tucked into it's winter hibernation with a cover a week ago... so no checking this out on the drag strip or draggy until April at earliest! (Iowa winters) Update: 8,000 miles
Just a tad more miles than my Aug '21 GT PE now with 7,800 miles. 😉I expect to have 8,250 or less by the time I put it to storage for the winter - Nov through Apr.
Yes... We're here on a FORUM. The young'uns don't follow forums, my friends. They're on way more advanced social media than this. Perhaps our view that most Mach E owners are "seasoned" is because we're in the FORUM box, not out of the box doing SnapChat, Twitter (X), Insta, etc.
Right on... exactly why I bought the car, for the GT and GT-PE stepped up performance and what that means in a Mustang. The car was likely the first world-wide delivery of a GT, yet alone a GT-PE, on August 19, 2021. Within 10 days I had it on a drag strip.
When I posted the results from the...
Curious what is your map / navigation app that produced this breadcrumb trail of where you drove? Maybe you mentioned it in the original post, but didn't see it.
Glad everyone is okay. Hope things go smoothly and quickly for a replacement.
Could you give us a little more insight into the crash situation? What was the approximate speed of the other vehicle? How big was it? My daughter walked away unscathed from being rear ended by a large SUV going...
I also discovered that first thing this morning... 2 Mach E's, 1 Explorer ST. At first, the app comes up with the correct image. After switching to a different vehicle, the picture seems to be incorrect and they continue to seem swapped. I think all other data is still preserved, just the images...
THIS WOULD BE AWESOME !!!!
Curious, with full power thrust, does the actual acceleration slow down at faster RPMs of the motors? Any idea of the curve? And thus my biggest question...
If full power with some reduction in acceleration due to RPM / torque loss with no shifting of gears, what...
Snapshot from video - doing 116mph with blurred view of the 4-5 grey bars on the power meter. I'm not sure I'd say a sliding scale, if lighten up on power, grey bars will reduce. I got up to this speed in just under 4/10ths of a mile.
FYI: Join the Iowa Mustangs Unstabled club (IMU)... a very active club that offers lots of meet up opportunities and drives through the year. There are a few Mach-Es appearing now and then, including mine at a few events in the last 18 months. I did some drag racing and beat the 3 Mustangs I...
I live up north, but don't have that experience. Of course, depending upon where @Mach-Lee lives in Wisconsin, may be pretty close to the climate in east central Iowa where I live. I'm extremely lucky- we have a heated garage and it's set at 50 degrees. That helps a ton as well as only have a...
I find a great deal of heat is generated, even in winter's low sun angle, when the car is parked directly to the south with windshield facing south. The angle of the windshield greatly increases that sun angle allowed to come in, plus seats and interior will absorb sunlight and warm up.
I...
Nice! Certainly looks like it would work. I think I'd find myself having issues with the strong metal and reflection feel on the roof above my head. I suppose one would get used to it. I've used the 3M Command strips a lot lately hanging wall pictures. They leave no residue when removed and are...
This is my '21 GT PE stored since mid-Nov, likely won't come out until mid-April (5 months). I did the same last year with no issues. It goes into deep sleep and may only lose 1% charge every month at most. Basic instructions by Ford are to store at 50% state of charge. I live in Iowa with bad...
