I'm sorry, the word is actually laminated. I'll find another post for reference. You have it, you can see the two pieces of glass on your window with the piece in the middle of them - it's laminated
edit: here's a post for reference...
The acoustic glass is the front driver and passenger windows. If yours is a Dec '21 build (like mine), you have it. The front driver window should say "acoustic" "laminated" in the text area and if you partially roll down the window and look down the top of the pane, you can see a thin layer in...
Thanks! Remembered to check https://seg.fyi/mache-vin/ and managed to get my VIN and window sticker! 5272 197/330. And sure enough, the prep kit -$325 is there.
Somehow still scheduled for production week of 4/11 with no other progress on Ford's website. Under additional features, it says "Active Park Assist Prep Kit", does that mean I need to connect with my dealer and sign that paperwork with $325 off or whatever? Did other 4/11 folks have the prep kit?
Are you folks tracking it through the Ford.com > Reservations and orders page? Mine still says Schedule for Production week of 4/11/2022. Nothing under built and I can't seem to find a VIN or window sticker anywhere on that page. Am I looking in the wrong spot?
Snagged a '21 Premium AWD ER in...
Hopefully yours gets scheduled soon, maybe the next scheduling with 4/4? I was a little surprised to get scheduled for 4/4 on cleanup scheduling for March.
One more chance to get a build date before April, I suppose. I used to think I'd have my car in Feb/March (ordered 8/21).
That's exactly what I'm doing - can I get another car sooner? Certainly not a Fisker Ocean, but a Kia EV6? The price is good but probably won't be sooner. I'm currently...
8/21 order for a Premium AWD ER and still no scheduling. Fingers crossed for a build date in the upcoming clean up scheduling happening this week. Grumpy that it's already been 5 months and no "progress"
Premium AWD ER ordered 8/21/21... Still no build date. Getting antsy and tired of it. Confirmed with my dealer two weeks ago that everything "looked good" and the order was properly in the queue. He said he didn't know my priority code. Guess my only option is to call and hassle him again to...
Thanks, the order guides list:
So that's where I got confused. Glad to hear it can do 11.5 kW, 9.6 kW is pretty good, but if one is paying extra for a 48-amp charger/wiring, it's nice to use that full capability.
No, that's a perfectly reasonable charger. The Mach E can charge from an AC connection (level 2) up to 10.5 kW (using the "onboard charger" to convert AC from the wall to DC for the battery). A 240 V, 48 A charger can provide 240 V * 48 = 11520 W = 11.5 kW, so it's a touch more than you need...
