Given that we are talking about the frunk, it's unlikely for seat tethers. I have a 2021 and it came with this weird divider in the frunk, that was useless, so we removed it. I believe the divider would be seated in those divots.
I had an issue with mine in that the windshield broke and the paint in and around the windshield "well" is peeling. Also they scratched the car when they were either removing the first one or putting the new one in. This was at the beginning of the recall, so had to wait to get a new windshield...
So - was in getting my snows off and the warranty fixes done. Get a call from the dealer that the shop found a crack on the windshield (at the edge, in the black) and when they lift it, it will spread most certainly. They want to know if I want to order a new windshield at a cost of over 1300.00...
Hi - it was something to do with Applecarplay - once it's removed from the apps, the navi works well - I think Ford is still trying to fix it so both can run
I think there must have been an OTA fix of some sort - mine is working now too, but I don't have Apple carplay installed anymore - the engineers are apparently still working on a real fix so you can ha ve both, but for now, it'll do.
I have definitely had this problem - the only thing that seems to have any effect is removing Apple Carplay - mine is working now, but now Apple carplay is not installed. Ford is apparently working on a fix. Give it a try.
They were going to tomorrow, but now it's working (because I deleted Apple Carplay) - so will hold off until the techs figure things out - don't want to have to do a reset if I can avoid it - doesn't sound like a silver bullet anyway
Will let you know what they say - maybe they have learned something new? Hope springs eternal - plus real-time traffic matters - otherwise would just use Waze.
Interesting....I have an appointment next week with the dealership (first appt. They weren't able to do anything) - we shall see - would like to avoid a master reset if possible, but maybe it's not a big deal. Thanks!
