I'm having an issue where the main screen won't reset even after holding down the volume button + right arrow.
You see the screen go black and restart, then the graphic of that light going down to the volume knob, and then it freezes with a circle light around the volume knob and gets stuck...
More inventory is probably true for most cars now. I just looked up Tesla MY inventory in my area and it's maxed out (200+) and there are up front price cuts (~$3k) as well.
And for some of us who are in CA, have the RWD, SR anyways who don't care about performance, being a LFP at 100% is already more range at a lower percent state of charge.
As a previous Bolt owner too, I'd rather stay away from what happened there if I could.
I assume we will keep our car well...
I would love to trade for the LFP version if I could (that train has left with what I paid/less credits now).
You can have it charged always to 100% and folks feel LFP is a safer chemistry in general (me included).
It wasn't over for Porsche, Lucid, Hyundai, BMW (I think?) and pretty much anyone not Tesla, GM, Ford, Toyota, Nissan. Everyone else other than those 5 doesn't = "all" as you claim.
Add in VW, Volvo too?
Tesla cutting prices and Ford losing half the tax credit really made it tough for them (and everyone else I'd guess). I've always stated before that replacing the old EV tax system with the IRA was a boon for Tesla and hurts pretty much everyone else trying to get in the market.
We can all see...
This is helpful. I really liked the Blackvue (vs. Thinkware) and how they integrate for live monitoring/video/cloud performance, but I really hate how so many companies are pushing monthly fees now with everything they release to try to generate additional income streams.
I will probably wait...
Maybe buy tires or things you're forced to buy after some time? My dealer was nice enough that I even got the online discount for some mats. It all depends on the dealership of course.
Bottom line for folks is this is better than Tesla which offered you nothing. They didn't have to do this...
My wording doesn't say the same as yours, but from your blurb above, is it a sure thing you can get the same rate? It just says the APR will be the lower of the APR... OR the maximum APR permitted by law.
Mine says that the monthly payment will be the same only:
The refinancing Annual...
xplan discount and ford stock discount isn't a "and" thing. Buying ford stock allowed one to get on x-plan so it wasn't additional. Cheaper to just join MCA.
I disagree with you that they will go far below MSRP UNLESS, and I stress the UNLESS Ford decides to cut the price or offer an...
No, I'm in So Cal so it's not overly cold.
I have my key in shielded bag with me often actually as a backup, but use PAAK always. It could be pressing, but it's probably no different from having a fob without a bag in my pocket.
I'll chalk it up to a fluke for now, but will test it again or...
Old thread, but I just got this error this weekend. One question I had after reading the whole thread is if having it in a RFID shielding bag makes it use the battery more because it's constantly failing to contact the car so tries more vs. without a shielding bag/pouch?
Range, at extreme high levels can be very helpful. Think 500 miles and you can do a drive from San Fran to Los Angeles without a single charge. Can visit LA to Las Vegas, San Diego to Phoenix, list goes on and on.
Not a ton of people do insane cross country road trips regularly, but if you...
For me, it'll probably be:
Near/at 400 mile range
Super fast charging like the Korean brands (10% -> 80% in 18 minutes?)
Cost is less of a concern, but under $100k probably.
LFP ideally or some other battery chemistry
Lucid and some of the Mercedes may hit that already, but I'll drive this MME...
I wonder if Ford should foot the bill and consider shipping all these hundreds of EVs in CA to the rest of the US then. Clearly, a lot of people backed out on their purchases (with these green stickers) and there is definitely a supply imbalance.
Perhaps increase your search radius as well...
Keep us updated how this turns out.
I think for that price, no one 'would' be buying this when your possible buyers can go to any local dealer with their ~20 MMEs, pay MSRP - $7.5k fed - $2k CA CVRP and get a totally new car in the possible config they want.
Being in CA isn't going to help you...
I think all cars have issues really. If you vow never to purchase from a brand, you may run out of companies to buy from really. Tesla buyers got zip/nothing after paying near $20k more for MY. There were plenty of battery fires from all other EV makers as well.
My advice and what I do is...
