Ford has a major issue with managing their software systems. I've received only a sync update since November of last year. I've received none of the OTA updates folks have talked about on this forum. So, I called Ford and talked to someone in their OTA department and they told me they couldn't...
Thank you and @Robob for the info. I wonder how I could get this resolved then, since it appears that the server is broken. Has there been any positive action that has come from somehow opening an issue with Ford? Or ask the dealer to follow up? Fordās update process is so arcane! š§
I havenāt seen an update in months and see an error on the update screen when I do a manual check. Can I get a status check here? Thanks!

Iāve seen this screen when I go to updates since mid-December. I had the car in for service a couple weeks ago and they said everything is green now, but still seeing this with no OTA updates. Ideas?
If you frequently travel the blessed roads that BC actually covers, it's possibly worth the $200/year... but it's worthless otherwise.
As for Nav... Apple and Google have proper map services that are always up to date without additional subscription charges. Just one of the reasons why I always...
Sure, I could adjust my driving to its stop curve like that, but I have no compelling reason. As noted elsewhere here, 1 pedal is a preference, not a direct benefit, and I didnāt find it all that compelling - especially because Iām almost always using speed control.
The biggest reason I havenāt adopted 1 pedal is because of backing in: With 2 pedal on, the car rolls and I only need the brake to control speed and stop. With 1 pedal on, the car mostly only rolls when pressing the accelerator, but stopping isnāt as precise as the car will roll to a stop when...
Another data point, fwiw: I always use Apple CarPlay and Maps, but I also gets this occasional āhelpā from the Ford nav despite having all those Ford nav settings off.
Good luck! I hope it works for you again. I lost PaaK over a year ago and have tried all the above suggestions several times since without success. (I keep hoping an update will fix it.)
We're nibbling around the edges of industrial age solutions while AI and software eat the world. A radical take: The way we look at human labor and productivity is tired and doesn't scale with the fully AI and robots powered economy we're moving toward. To honor human freedom and meaning - and...
On the other hand, it would easy for Ford to avoid any legal action here, they could simply do the right thing for their customers and replace the part.
I generally love the speed limit sign detection. It works great aside from those moments when it randomly attempts to accelerate to 70 mph on a 35 mph city road! š That and the fun with lane centering, it's a driving game that keeps my reflexes fast! š¤£
Iāve noticed the lane centering change over the last few weeks. I havenāt had it actually cross lines, but its line-seeking behavior has gotten more aggressive to the point of being worrying at moments. I still use it, but often prevent it from moving all the way out when thereās close traffic...
Personally, I love my Mach-E, but I agree that there are WAY too many "gotchas" with EV charging currently to blindly grab a rental, including:
1. Multiple types of incompatible charging stations.
2. Availability of the correct kind charging station in an area may be low to none.
3. Docks may...
