My '21 GTPE received a 35k trade-in offer from Rivian a few days ago. No way I'll take it. I'm glad I have Ford Options, at least I know the floor is 24k for 2 more years. The 50% loss of value in just 2 years makes me think twice before purchasing the Rivian R1S - even with a 20k discount it...

I take it that wide-open pedal acceleration is identical in all drive modes. I am wondering what the update does to resolve the excessive heat issue if the max torque/baterry current is not changed.

Has anyone noticed little to no difference between Engage and Unbridled modes after the update? Not sure if the max torque has been limited to resolve the issue with excessive heat, I hope not. Just in case, I'm thinking to restore the factory settings if that's still possible ..
