Hi, I'm the one that started this thread. From the graph above it amazes me that the 12V battery would go down so fast.
Anyway, when we leave our Mach E for 2 months......should we allow it to sleep and have the software handle the time off, or just leave it plugged into our 40Amp circuit so...
This is probably obvious but I could not find it......we will be away from our 2022 Mach E for 2 to 2.5 months to warmer weather. How does the 12V battery stay charged and is there anything I can do remotely to keep it charged?
Thanks
I did the exact same as you after reading the forum to get it to go away. When I took it to the dealer they replaced the rear brake pads and buffed the rotors.....so far so good after 3 weeks. Some on the thread have the rear and fronts changed but they told me they have only seen the issue on...
I just took mine in for the rotor/brake pads fusing together. (Jan 2022 build week) I told them I have a high pitched whine from 29-32 mph and they are replacing my front motor. I thought they might just tweak the settings but they want to change it out.
Just curious, did the two of you have...
FYI...they are replacing my rear brake pads and cleaned my rotors. They inspected the fronts and are leaving them alone.
I had mentioned (and I have posted in the forum) that I had a high pitched whining that starts at 29 and ends at 32 mph. They had it up on the rack and ran it and said it...
Thanks so much for the recall information. My build week was 1/3/22 so it looks like I qualify. Not that I want a recall, but perhaps I would get the pads/rotors to be new again if for some reason they are wearing quickly.
I'll call the dealership in the morning to confirm I'm under the recall...
OK...after calling my local dealership who didn't have anyone to speak with and just said tow it in, and the earliest schedule maintenance would be in Oct. I just drove to 20/25mph and then braked fairly hard and repeated 6-7 times and it seems to have gone away. I'm a little alarmed that it...
Thanks for everyones help so far. I felt all around the tires and they seemed OK and didn't see anything. Tires are not losing any pressure. I even tried turning off the backup sensor setting and that didn't do any good. Right now think it might be a rotor perhaps. On a level road the thump...
Thanks....
Maybe, had mine for about 15 months now and never heard anything like this before. Don't drive much as we only have 5K miles on the tires. Will probably take it in this next week for them to look at it....
Very odd just now when I started driving. As soon as I started I got a thumping sound each time my wheel went 1 revolution. I went about 100 feet and it was still there just not as loud. Thought it might be an emergency brake so I toggled it on/off but still happening. Doing it forward and...
Upgraded to 4.2.6 2 days ago and I read on the Forum that it might help front motor "whine". I have that between 28-32 mph. I might be imagining it but it seemed to help yesterday during city driving and the car was quieter up to 40 mph. Will have to drive more to see if I was dreaming or it...
I just saw a post that there is possible fix......I have this also from 28-32 mph. TSB 23-2168 and I'm trying to find out if I have to take it in? See the forum post on this today.
My 2022 Premium ER AWD has a whine between 28 and 32 mph. Can I just call my local dealer to get this hopefully fixed or can I upgrade at home. I first posted this issue a month after I owned the car but no one had a fix. Thanks
Is anyone having this issue the last few days? My 2022 Premium AWD ER is switching from Engage to Unbridled without me changing the settings. The last few days it starts in Engage. Then I stop and turn off the car. Next time I get in it goes to Unbridled. This morning the second trip it...
