Answering my own question above... it seems that Canada doesn't have for x plan for the mache announced unlike the USA. Confirmed by the dealer. Maybe that will change later, maybe not.

Does this x-plan pricing apply in canada? and by extension, does mustang club of america (MCA) (canada edition -ghma.on.ca -they are listed as an associate to MCA ) provide x-plan pricing....

Interesting.. so I guess maybe the MEB has a few less restrictions.. The article mentions a max wheel size of 20in rather than 22 for the MEB. The MEB does seem more flexible however, but the development work was already done for the GE2 and there is probably a cost for each MEB platform used.

So I get that ford is using GE2 platform (C2 derivative) for this mustang.. but has agreed with VW to use MEB for future electric vehicles. I can't think of why this platform would be abandoned after development? Is MEB that much better? is there deficiencies in GE2?
