Not sure which model you are getting, but I think you can get 226. The 190 that I did in a single shot was based off starting at 80% charge, and I still had close to 10% left.
Sorry for the slow reply, was away for holidays! I didn't experience any issues during my drive. I kept in whisper most of the drive as I was trying to maximize my mileage. Seems like today (Weds 1/5) would be the day to test the traction given this ice storm!
It was the Adirondack Welcome Center on the Thruway that had a free high speed charger but it wouldn't communicate with the car. My longest straight shot was 190 miles from Albany to Exit 8 of NJTPK
Hope that your wait isn't too long and that soon you're cruising VT with a big smile! Burlington has a good amount of level 2 chargers that would give you options for topping off during the work day, including on campus at UVM, downtown, and in some different shopping plazas!
Here is a quick recap and my big takeaways from the road trip I took between central NJ and Burlington, VT (and back). Learned a ton, and no total screw ups (thankfully) so definitely a good adventure.
Left house with 100% charge. Was spending night outside Saratoga so knew I'd have plenty of...
This is a great write up. Took a long road trip from NJ to Burlington, VT (and back) to get my daughter from college. I'm surprised you only got 2.4-2.6 miles. My trip back it was 20s-30s and I was going ~70 on highway and still getting 2.8-3.0. Had seat heaters on low and occasionally turned...
Just got my extended range RWD this weekend. Am in NJ and was planning to take it up to Burlington VT this weekend. However, looks like some snow in the forecast for Sat when I planned to be driving home. Now second guessing if I want to be on those stock tires even if it isn't looking like more...
Thanks for this great write up. I am planning a road trip to and from NJ to Burlington, VT. I have an extended range, but I've got RWD and stock tires and just learned when I'm driving home Sat there is a snow storm (only a couple of inches but still). I'm not worried about charging, but am a...
Very happy camper thus far. She's a knockout. Explosive power and great handling. Ford Pass was pretty straightforward to set up as well. Looking forward to a proper road trip tomorrow. Hope everyone else takes delivery (mostly) as scheduled and gets to enjoy soon!
So, just got an "official" email from Ford last night, which I had hoped was the "yay, your car is ready" but was actually an "official" notice that the pick up date moved back yet again. They have moved it multiple times already, but this was the first time they ever notified me. Wondering if...
Hi there, I've had my delivery date moved three times (once moved two days earlier, but now it has been pushed back twice). Orginally was 11/23-11/29 and it has since been pushed back to 12/6 and then when that came and went, it became 12/10. Dealer basically says "it will get here when it...
Just to be 100% sure, if my car just got built (September) it won't be impacted by this issue because Ford already is aware of it...and have addressed the production process? I guess that is a bright side to my order from May taking 4+ months :-)
