I don't know I'm having similar problems on an iOS device. The car struggles to start the route and then when it does it'll go along but then all the sudden the car will be miles from where I actually am and bounce back and forth throughout the trip.
4.1.2 fixed most of my wireless CarPlay connectivity and profile issues but one of things thatās still persistent is a navigation frustration. When I use either Apple Maps or google maps via wireless CarPlay it will take awhile to figure out where the car is and then while on the route itāll...
Strange. Getting to 4.1.2 fixed all my wireless CarPlay connectivity issues, the guest profile issue, and speed of the menus. I'd say we're back to being like 95%.
Do we think that this is the beginning of a longer-term strategy where Ford adds additional streaming apps to SYNC? I can see them wanting to make sure that Wi-Fi is squared away before adding things like Netflix.
Stupid question that's probably already been answered here, but will this work on a Job 1 2021 model that has no frunk button in FordPass or in Sync or anywhere other than the manual pull?
I can confirm that I received 3.6.2 today after a very brief drive having never used the parking brake and a charge state of about 72%. So I think a lot of their suggestions seem useful, but aren't exactly "required."
Mine was built November of 2020. I have mine set for 1am installs but manually installed it when it alerted me it had downloaded. I wasnāt connected to Wi-Fi or a charger.
