If anyone was looking into a Heatshield Top Glass Roof reflector, let me know! I have one that is new in package that I will ship for $40 total/obo (bought and just never used it). Can email me at [email protected]. Thanks, everyone!
I mean... it really just says they haven't announced it. That, and not all stations may be participating, even if they did do it. There have certainly been weekends where some say it's activated and others said their local one was not. Gonna all just have to wait and check. That said...
Yeah... numbers don't lie. I'm very happy I got a MME over Model Y. But this is almost like that Super Bowl commercial of Budweiser ripping on craft beer when they themselves were pushing to gain market share in the segment (taking over the same company that made said beer, no less).
I agree. I actually did not install it according to Ford's instructions because it didn't cover what I feel is most likely to be hit, and protects the area least likely to have contact with stuff. But that led to some "retry bubbling." Like the prototype! I voted, and like the matte black...
I appreciate the quick replies! I'm usually pretty particular. I pointed it out to the dealer, and have an appointment for them to deal with scratches in the front panel. But I didn't force the issue for the pillar, as I can live with it (therefore it's not on the work order). Thanks again...
Does anyone know for certain the material of the panels where the door code is on the driver's side? Mine came with a scratch (but on the passenger side) and I'm trying to figure out whether it's OK to use a compound or if I should treat it like it's glass. Any experiences welcome! As Tupac...
This is true. But, as someone that had tracked Model Y pricing for a long time (until they f'd me over by never making my configuration and keeping my deposit for 2 years), they were increasing it $500 or $1000 consistently every 2 weeks for a good amount of time. At least in this situation...
The same thing happened to me back in December. My car was there for 10 days. My dealership reached out to the regional rep, who tagged it as "hot," and it was at the dealership within 2 days. I don't know if it was just coincidental, but I have to believe it didn't hurt.
My 2021 was stuck there for 11 days... seemed to be out of the norm, though, as others in my build group that got to LA (I am San Diego county) were only there 1-2 days.
Update for the small 2/7 crew ;)

I have previously mentioned this in another thread, but I cannot say enough about Encinitas Ford, from order to delivery. Great communication, great staff. Rhonda in particular is just outstanding. I can't speak for their service dept. because I have never had to use them. However, they are...
Mine was same batch, earlier number, all modules (that I can see), same model, but still hasn't shifted (yet). I'm cryin' foul, Brent!!! ;) Maybe today, tho... congrats!
I know you didn't create this post for pages of condolences, but in my months of being on this board, I know they are genuine... as are mine. Heartbreaking to read, and I can't imagine what you and your family are going through. Heartfelt sympathies.
Mine as well. Either they actually DID work on ours last week, or it was a small batch this week. That is pretty expedient, IMO. Prelim congrats to the 2/7 gang!
I just completed H&R Block. Can't e-file because the workaround is using form 3800, which they do prompt you with. I added form 8911 in there for more verification since I have to mail it anyway. As others have mentioned, you could also e-file without 3800 and then amend your return with...
