Complimentary Ford Pick Up & Delivery and Ford Mobile Service — Vehicle Service That Fits Your Life

Which is why I only go to my local dealer when it's absolutely necessary. They did come and get my car, made the repair, and then returned it the same afternoon, and the overall experience was nice. Needless to say, what should have been a 7-10 day wait for a part (and paint) turned into a...

Complimentary Ford Pick Up & Delivery and Ford Mobile Service — Vehicle Service That Fits Your Life

My dealer has offered it to me; I'll see how it goes tomorrow. Now let's talk about the 6 weeks it took to get a new parking sensor in stock and painted with no communication to me at all. "Whoops, it looks like the texts we sent you said "not delivered." Ford, your service advisors are...

    Park Aid fault

I started getting this error (Reverse Brake Assist Not Available, followed by Park Aid Fault) about a week ago. I just updated to 6.6.0 last night so I'll see if it clears. I've already tried driving with my hands off the wheel on straight roads multiple times, and the fault hasn't cleared.

    Efficiency (Cost per mile)

I think a useful way of looking at it is to use cost/100miles rather than cost per mile or equivalent MPG. Using an efficiency of 3 mi/kwh and my current utility rate of $0.11/kwh, I estimate it costs me roughly $3.67 to drive 100 miles. With my previous car (2014 Escape) getting just under...

    04/04/22 Build Week Chat

Very happy here! I am just trying to get through the Colorado winter, where it is always too damn cold. I've got about 6700 miles on Snowspeeder now and I still love the overall experience every time I step into the driver's seat!

Per Study, ICE fueling costs fall below price of EV charging

My municipally-owned utility charges about $0.135/kWh; and even driving in winter I get around 2.7 mi/kWh. That works out to $5/100mi for me in winter, and just over $4 when it's warmer.

Poll: Have you gotten OTA 4.1.2 (the UI refresh)?

After I voted yesterday morning, I went out again in the afternoon only to find I’d gotten (SURPRISE!) the UI update. The notifications showed up about 45 minutes later in my Ford Pass app lol. I have a 2022 Select built in April 2022 and I’m not in any EA programs. The 3.6 updates rolled out...

The Mandalorian Start button cover for geeks like me.

I had to remove mine as it broke after a few months. The hinge was so stiff that I guess it created metal fatigue and then catastrophic failure.

Haven’t seen any issues here (so far). Drove to Denver and back today without incident; BlueCruise functioned well.

AWD fault: Car bricked in neighbor’s driveway (temporarily)

RIght? To be fair, she took delivery of the Grabber Blue Premium ER I originally ordered last year, but it was in the garage, charging. So I let her drive my Select.

AWD fault: Car bricked in neighbor’s driveway (temporarily)

Just to follow-up: I drove the car around town today with no incidents or warning lights. Everything appears as normal.

AWD fault: Car bricked in neighbor’s driveway (temporarily)

No, it was just the neighbor’s driveway, and 1PD was on.
