If you're using a Samsung phone with One UI 6.0 - it's a relatively wide-spread problem that AA Wireless just doesn't work. Samsung still hasn't fixed it to this day. There's a small chance that the One UI 6.1 update will bring a silent fix in its update stack. I've posted about this issue in...
Did you happen to delete any devices from your S22U's list of saved Bluetooth devices recently? I did and ended up in a similar "fix".
My resolution was to reset PaaK in the car's Settings -> General -> Reset area and then set up PaaK on my phone again. Extreme, but it worked.
23-PU1113-UNX-DC got installed after receiving the previous "FX" update. FX2 has not yet been sent to my car. It's been interesting to see how the deployments get to some cars and not others .
You can refer to post #2 and #7 (just noticed #8 has photos of the in-car setting) here: https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/disable-mach-e-lane-centering.9259/ -- Hope this helps!
I agree with your opening points but wanted to reply to this quoted bit.
I've noticed that this isn't a guarantee, either. I'm in the EA program and there seem to be others' cars that are ahead of mine but claim to not be in the EA program. There is no rhyme or reason to it, as far as I can...
We're on the same update plan/schedule. :)
As for BC - I never received any BC updates...... because my car can never have BC thanks to the engineers blocking any method to add the necessary hardware for it to the car after it left the factory! Heh.
Just a data point: I have a Pixel 8 Pro and have not experienced this on 6.6.0. I don't recall my S23 Ultra showing this behavior, either (but I swapped off it due to the S23U being terrible for Android Auto wireless).
To be clear: I am just sharing this for information's sake and NOT taking...
This is a problem with the S23 Ultra and not your car. I have both the S23 Ultra and a Pixel 8 Pro. The S23U is guaranteed to be a bad time in the car for AA Wireless. It will not work on wireless with any reliability due to some bug introduced in the One UI 6 release (none of the updates since...
Meanwhile, my car is still sitting at this update level. Not a big deal but seems odd that non-EA cars have moved on to 6.7.0 before me. Seems strange. However, given the alterations to the driver display console that come with the 6.8.0 build.. I am not in a rush, either. :)
I appreciate the feedback but believe me when I say that I've followed every path I can to address this. So much so that I made the decision to swap over to the Pixel 8 Pro which works 100% reliably compared to the S23U. ;)
I keep the S23U on the chance that I see evidence that Samsung finally...
My S23U got every update within a day or two of their release. Unfortunately, there are a variety of users out there who have the same bad luck as I do. Keep that good/working phone of yours close and don't let it get too close to the "dirty" Galaxy S23 series phones out there. :)
Edit: As...
FWIW - I did all of the above with my S23U and this did not fix any of the connectivity issues with that phone, sadly. The S23U is simply unusable in the MME, in my experience. It'd be one thing if the phone just would lose connection and reconnect due to some external factor. Unfortunately, it...
I'd "upgraded" from the Pixel 6 Pro to the Galaxy S23 Ultra and, since the 6.x.x series of updates (along with the recent "OneUI 6.0 update") found that the Galaxy S23 Ultra simply could not keep a connect with the MME - no matter if wired or wireless. The only thing that I did not test was...
I believe that. I was also surprised by how I was more or less in sync with ChasingCoral's car as we both seemed to be receiving the updates at the same cadence. Again, NBD, truly. Just surprises me to see the way these updates get pushed out.
And yes, it was very smart for them to halt all...
