they add zero power. as others have said, they just remap the throttle, so you feel like your car is more powerful because you don't have to push the pedal as far to get your power.
Ultimately, they'll just make your car less efficient because it's harder to feather the throttle more gently...
I know you meant Bolt. Which I did happen to forget about. But I still don't think the two are really comparable. I think the Blazer is a much closer competitor to the Mach E.
There's things I like and things I don't. I don't love the front of the vehicle. And it has some nice body lines but looks a little boxy. I'm not sure if I like the location of the large screen, but it might be much better than the Mach E and Tesla's setup. Won't know that until I used it...
Definitely not an illusion, at least for me. It started showing something in red and blinging some alarm for me to take over for corrective action today, while it was continually pulling me toward a car I was passing on my right side.
Blue cruise was really pissing me off today. Favoring the right side of the lane no matter how much I kept fighting it or trying to correct it, and exactly as you said, literally pulling towards cars in the next lane to my right, to the point that it starts ringing an alarm for corrective...
I wasn't disagreeing with you regarding if that has any impact on the HVBJB issue. I was only referencing the differences in drive modes regarding your statement that I quoted. Rereading your statement, I realized that I did not catch your intention. My mistake. I fully agree with your...
True, but you could moderate or have more forgiveness/be less precise with throttle increase with the whisper and engaged modes easier than you could with unbridled . The throttle response is definitely different, unless you slam the pedals to the floor at all times.
I'm not paying for any silly subscription features. Either put it in my car and I'll pay for the option, or don't, but I don't need to be nickle'd and dime'd.
Welcome to the club. It's a great family car. Good safety features, and also quick and sporty if you're wanting to have a little fun. Best of both worlds.
thanks, i appreciate it. i'll check that out. i'm set for automatic updates, and in the settings it just always says "up to date" but never a version number.
that Focus was only a 3 year production, so if you remember in the article, the more worrying issue is that they couldn't even find a replacement battery pack to buy at the listed $14k price. It would be shocking if that's the case with the Mach E. They're selling faster than they can make...
But if it catches the offender's registration tag, you have something to work with. It worked for me getting my hit and run damage repaired in full by someone who hit my parked car in a parking garage, and then left a phoney note. I didn't have sentry, but cameras in the garage got it. Sentry is...
Sounds like you need to move somewhere with a better police department. Where I'm from if you had the registration plate and video evidence it would be enough for them to sign motor vehicle complaints. That's exactly what happened with me when another car of mine got hit in a parking lot...
