Ford to Offer Complimentary Tesla Supercharger Adapter to Eligible Mach-E Owners (1/31/24 Update)

I was hoping for a short cord so that we could park normally at a Tesla charger.

    PowerUp 5.x Poll

If Ford was smart, they would roll out BC 1.3 by usage. They know how much each one of us uses Blue Cruise. Send it out to the one's who use it the most first vs those who don't use or care about it.

If it’s broke … fix it.

I've plugged many tires with no problems. The other repair method would be a vulcanized patch from the inside however your hole may be to close to the sidewall for that.

Upcoming Competition: 2024 Jeep Recon EV SUV — First Real Life Looks

I'd like to see this or another Jeep BEV be flat towable and under 5000 lbs with 300+ mile range (in the winter).

DIY: Reflectix Roof Insulation to Reduce Heat Loss in Cold Temperatures

I first learned to shield my glass roof on my Jeep Grand Cherokee, while driving I was chilled and by closing the cover I was comfortable. For the Mach e I could reach up and feel the cold radiating from the roof so I ordered one of these...

Question: Is there a way to report ICE vehicles parked in an EV Charging station?

Or the property owners will decide the chargers are too much of a problem and get rid of them.

Question: Is there a way to report ICE vehicles parked in an EV Charging station?

Step one is to get legislation passed (preferably at the state level) to make it illegal to park in an EV charging spot, including charging and not moving your car after X minutes. Step two is to get signs at the stations stating step one.

And lets not forget that many want money on account, not just billing what you use.

    New Year's Eve Charging Nightmare

I disagree with your assessment that public chargers are only used by travelers. Where I live there is one fast charging (non tesla) station in a metro area of 3-4 hundred thousand people. It is used a lot by local people. As cheaper EV's become available there will be many owners who can't...

    Why not a dehumidifier?

Two things, One: A dehumidifier is an air conditioner that doesn't blow the cold air and uses a lot of electricity. Two: Has anyone tried putting a cover (thick but like the sunscreens used in the summer) to cover the glass roof. On my Jeep I found closing the shade on the panoramic roof...

Dishonesty, Apparent Coverup, and Horrible Customer Services regarding Ford Active Park

When they first pulled the park assist all existing orders were held up and you had call Ford or the dealer to ok your order. Even when the car came you had to sign the form acknowledging that there was no park assist and the prep package was on the window sticker with a credit. If you ordered...

    Completely DEAD!!

Silly question but "It was plugged in" but was it charging. Either a blown breaker or charger/car fault.

Can't drive with door open? Is this a new nanny feature?

Chrysler got sued years ago because someone (an actor if I recall) got out of the car to open their gate but left the car running and in gear, he got crushed to death. Those of us used to a physical key and shift lever forget to push the button or twist the knob sometimes.
