agree, It only seems to happen on cold/very cold days. Also, this fault doesn't keep the car from being used / drivable, it just limits it to under 80 mph, and its a quick dealer fix. They shouldn't have it for days, more like an hour. Make that appointment, its worth the peace of mind.
Hi, I had these sporadic faults for a year and made an appointment for them to update the
VDM Module. It took about 1/2 hour and it hasn't done it since. There is a TSB for this.
Hope this helps.
I believe its the physical dvd. I found out about after buying the download on amazon.
(which also had a $10 credit within the app). I think TT is doing that everywhere....
Rick, Im in the exact same situation on most of what you mention above (minus the AMT and carryovers). If the form says DO NOT FILE is could be inaccurate. In this case I think the EV form is ok, but many of us had a terrible time when they release the 8962 AS FINAL Ready to File, but it was...
I've been watching this thread for quite awhile, as my 2021 GT PE has been doing this for almost a year. I figure I better have it looked at. What is the consensus on the fix? Does updating the software (mostly) work? I know that @Mach-E GT PE Jim had the VDM replaced, which takes
longer...
Hi, my 2021 GTPE has been doing this for almost a year. I figure I better have it looked at while its under warranty. I will DM you. Thank You very much for helping us out on this forum!!!
Yeah @dtbaker61 said something similar:
" I had my HVBJB replaced after installing the 'trimmed' Tesla pucks.... My Dealership thought they were great and left them in place rather than using the shop version with looks more like a brick. So, fine as long as the battery tray can be...
Great info in this thread. I'm ordering the blue pucks today. I noticed that on this thread, in the discussion of needing to take these off, @dtbaker61 and @scoopman indicated that these do not interfere with dropping the HV battery tray. Has anyone else heard this? That would be good news...
Question:
I took possession of a 2021 MME GT PE (All wheel Drive) on Feb 5th 2022.
I searched the IRS and found that through 2022,
the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT 2021-2022 qualifies for $7,500 tax credit.
(I'm well below any income level cut off.)
Is this everyone's understanding? I'm...
We are coming out of bad weather and I went through and deleted older trips made in pretty cold
weather that were low range, (1.9, 2.0, 2.1 etc). The next day, I dont see improved
range on the GOM (still stuck on about 2.3) Also, I came across some ludicrous trips, see images:
97.8 miles/kWh...
We pulled into a mall to EA chargers and 3 of the 4 chargers had
TESLAs **just sitting in the spot, **NOT** charging.
One cable on the last charger wasn't working, so were luckily that the other 150 kwatt
one worked, as we were low on charge.
This is worse than being ICEd, as you would think...
well I have 3 cars on my USAA INS account:
the MME GT PE is $384/6 months, or $768/year
2013 prius with 100K miles is $361/6 months, or $722/yr
2014 corolla is 500 yr
however -- we are retired, don't put on too many miles, about 5k a yr,
and in a small town in Pa. Its hard to compare because...
yea, I agree. I had a couple of local trips come in at 1.9 here last winter, but it was damn cold and I tend to always drive fast (except in snow).
I should probably change 55 degrees above to 50 degrees. In retrospect I think that's more realistic (and still pretty conservative). Over the...
Yep, same here and will likely get another EV someday, (right now 2nd car is
a prius plugin). I would hardwire it, don't use that other plug, you will regret it.
Also there should NOT be a price difference.
The wife is taking a long road trip and has a bit of range anxiety, so I made this chart that I printed out so she can check it against the wildly erratic Guess-O-Meter. Right now its estimating 2.3 miles/kWatt which is due to pretty cold temps over the winter. I'm going to delete EV driving...
