Mach-E Fast Charging Tesla Adapters Start Shipping TODAY Per Ford!

Just FYI, don't wear out your keyboard. I got this email as one of the early Beta testers. I am not sure that Ford is sending the same email out on normal orders. The EV team at Ford sent this to me. But encouraged me to share the news.

Article: "Tesla’s Sales Drop, a Sign That Its Grip on the E.V. Market Is Slipping"

Henry Ford isn't around anymore, or currently on Twitter spewing hate and nonsense. The current is what matters to most. Thus people buy VW's, Toyotas, Nissans, etc.

    Rivian R2 Reveal w/ R3 and R3X Surprises! $45K, 0-60 >3 seconds, 300+ miles range, NACS port, 4695 batteries

Meh . . . two years away for the R2 and loaning them $100. Seems like they announced to try to get more runway. Hard to believe that $45K price will stay 2 years from now too. I hope they succeed, and the vehicles look nice, but I am pretty much done with 2 year waits and deposits. And no date...

Ting - Smarthome device to detect wiring failures and prevent fires

Sure would be interested in hearing more knowledge about this from people who know electrical better than me before I get it in the mail.

Ting - Smarthome device to detect wiring failures and prevent fires

I got an email from my insurance company (State Farm) about a new free program called "Ting" today. It is a smart home monitor to look for arc faults in your wiring, and to prevent house fires. They are providing the monitor for free (normally $99) with three years of monitoring from the company...

    Charger installed outside.

New (Yesterday) install for my truck that I park outside, that I was using an extension under the garage door until last night. ONLY Tesla I will ever buy - Universal Wall charger to be ready for NACS someday. 😂

    Blue Cruise offer

I think this is only for the 2021 Mach E's who were told the price was going to be $600 for 3 years. I got it too.

Some one in my car. Walk away didn't lock?

I have also found that little lock symbol to be sometimes unreliable. I either push the lock button that is in the car when getting out, or push the bottom two numbers on the door pillar to lock the car if I got out and forgot to do the former. I do not trust walk away lock, and it is a pain in...

VinFast Goes Public, Market Cap Bigger Than Ford + GM

I was in San Diego a couple of weeks ago and went into the Vinfast store at a mall. The cars just don't seem "right". Part of the issue I think is the lack of a driver display just like the Tesla - although someone said they do have a HUD. Anyway, I was not impressed.

Tesla Introduced a Universal Wall Connector: Magic Dock for the Home

I ordered this yesterday for pickup on 10/31 at Best Buy to use as an outside charger for my Lightning. Now that everyone is going NACS in the future, I think this is the best option to be "future proof" and also to accommodate those who come to our house who will have a NACS connector as EV...

How much do you pay for electric at home?

We have the same in Ohio. I only pay .0709 for the energy, but by the time I pay all the other fees, .149, so almost 15 cents all in.

Ford Expands BlueCruise Availability with Complimentary Trial, Monthly Or Annual Activation

Hoping Ford rethinks the value proposition of this. They had it priced correctly out of the gate. No way I am spending $1,600 a year on this between my Mach E and my Lightning -as much as I like it, not worth that much more.
