The Tesla is by comparison to any other EV, kinda crude in this measure. The brake pedal in a Tesla is only brakes, no regen. The MME blended braking gives you options while maintaining efficiency... as do most other EVs.

I've seen one in the wild. Shouldn't be too surprised not to see them. There are only ~4K of them in total. By comparison there are ~117K MMEs in the US.

It depends where you are in OR... more affluent sections of Portland I see them every drive. More rural, or lower income places, the EVs vanish.

I don't think anything is wrong with the charger or your car based on the info provided. To see a higher charge rate, navigate to the DCFC to let the battery pre-condition. And as stated above, you will see much faster charge rates at a lower SOC. For perspective, pre-conditioning really...

Lidar has the same problem radar does... EVERYTHING in front of the car except traffic is stopped. Signs, overpasses, guardrails, etc. when traffic is stopped it looks like clutter.
