Anyone in WI been able to use BlueCruise hands free yet?

FYI, for anyone that is interested, I got this working after: Calling the Ford Customer Service/Software update departments and talking through the issue. I will say, I work in IT, and I was actually somewhat impressed with the customer service that I received. After a couple of tries to...

Anyone in WI been able to use BlueCruise hands free yet?

Yup...this is the issue. There no expire date on my Hands-Free Driving Mode. It just states, "--". I'm calling Ford right now. We shall see how this goes.

Anyone in WI been able to use BlueCruise hands free yet?

So, I have a job 2 car, and it allegedly had BlueCruise "out of the box". However, BlueCruise hands free has never kicked in for me. Granted, I do mostly city driving, as I'm driving around in the Greater (allegedly) Milwaukee Area. That being said, I've taken my Mach-E to both Chicago and...

Any Wisconsin Mach-E owners interested in a meet up?

It's...FINALLY...Nice out! So it appears that there is some interest. Any ideas on location? Ideal would be near one of the 5 (groan) EA DCFC stations in Wisconsin. Thoughts: 1) Parking lot of American Family Field (non-game day). I'm sure that we could swing this, check out AmFam Field...

Any Wisconsin Mach-E owners interested in a meet up?

Now that the weather is "hopefully" getting better (looks at outside thermometer...goes to garage to grab large hammer), I was wondering if any us Wisconsin Mach-E owners would be interested in a small meet up? Maybe at a location that is near a Electrify America? It doesn't have to be...

Is anyone noticing issues with any Ford systems?

So, I tried to cycle that this AM (Big BBall game on last night...LET'S GO RED!). Still no dice. The odd thing is that FordPass app is telling me that the car is starting to precondition/"Preparing for Drive", but it still doesn't show any charging info when I click on the "Details" button. I...

Is anyone noticing issues with any Ford systems?

I actually didn't attempt that. Is this the process? https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/ssm-49625-sync4-system-reboot-procedure-for-2021-mach-e-%E2%80%93-various-sync-4-system-concerns.3869/#:~:text=Some%202021%20Mustang%20Mach%2DE,and%20the%20system%20will%20reboot.

Is anyone noticing issues with any Ford systems?

This is what I'm seeing: It never did this until today. The car shows everything is correct. It's really weird. I went as far as to reset almost everything: Bluetooth, deleted app storage, reset paak, etc. I even drove the car for a bit and reconnected. Snake eyes. Anyone else seeing...

Is anyone noticing issues with any Ford systems?

I noticed that there is a thread re: a problem with Ford's online ordering system, and then this PM, FordPass app is stating that "It seems that some information is missing. To retrieve it, try tapping refresh". I started freaking out, because I was worried this was the start of a LVB/HVB...

Is this a GT, or GT-PE? Just curious (i.e. my family situ will not allow me to entertain the thought). Good luck!

What cool thing do you wish you could have on your MME, but isn't available?

JEEBUS! I just did a look up of the F-150 emergency power setup. Well, that explains why the extended battery versions start at $70K...it comes with a fricking charger that rated at 240V/80A! https://www.ford.com/trucks/f150/f150-lightning/2022/features/ev-charging/ford-charge-station-pro/...

What cool thing do you wish you could have on your MME, but isn't available?

I want to throw in a "That's what she said!" so badly right now :D I take it the 5 sec nanny limit is only getting people in GT-PE's about 1/2 down the 1320 ft?

What cool thing do you wish you could have on your MME, but isn't available?

Oh, and I would love an actual frunk button on my key fob. I know it's on the PAAK app, but honestly, I'm still old school, and like having the key fob as well. Oh...and why can't I remote start it from the key fob as well? I know it wouldn't be very useful in most situations, but I don't...

Difference in installing a 32 or 40 amp level 2 charger?

The limit isn't 40A. I'm not so sure what the upper limit is, but I charge my car at 240V/48A on a 60A circuit. It's roughly 11.2KW (roughly 250W are lost somewhere from the EVSE to the car in the cable) Graphical proof: I wonder if anyone has tried putting a MME on a 240V 70A or 80A...

What cool thing do you wish you could have on your MME, but isn't available?

It would be interesting to see if the Mach-E and the appropriate charging station could be setup like the F-150 Lightning and act as a backup battery for a house...but I don't think the available 88 KWh would be enough...but maybe?

Difference in installing a 32 or 40 amp level 2 charger?

You need a 50 Amp breaker, as a 14-50 calls for a 50 Amp circuit. The EVSE will only draw 40 amps, as the circuit needs to be sized 125% over by some code of some sort...I think it's a national code...

What cool thing do you wish you could have on your MME, but isn't available?

Sorry if this has been posted, but I was just pondering this idea when I was driving around today. (Also, I am absolutely smitten with the new car...I have zero complaints about it, other than some minor small issues, which is true of any car at any price point) (also Mods, if this should be...

Difference in installing a 32 or 40 amp level 2 charger?

Agreed...you can possibly control when the vehicle charges in two ways: 1) Setup a charging schedule with the MME, or 2) Setup a charging schedule with the EVSE, if it can do it. Personally, I just have the EVSE set to supply power all the time, and I schedule the allowed charge window via the...

Difference in installing a 32 or 40 amp level 2 charger?

Here's my 2 bits: If you want to use the included Ford Mobile EVSE, then you will need a 240V/50A circuit with a NEMA 14-50 receptacle. If you have any question at all, make sure you hire an electrician. Other than that, going to a permanently installed EVSE, then it just comes down to how...

100 or 200 amp home service?

Of course, as always, I would have a licensed electrician do all of the work, especially for something as large as a 240V/60A EVSE. The fridge is sizeable yes, and there is a ton of other devices that draw some amperage. That being said, the nice thing about the constant modernization that we...
