Huh. I don't know what to say. I can see subscriptions for ongoing services, like map updates, SiriusXM, and other "value added" things that take extra effort and expense for the car company, but NOT for allowing you to use hardware you have already paid for.
OK, I spent $72K on this car. I'm currently paying for the connectivity package, but when the rest of these services run out, that's it. I feel like I already paid for this equipment, no I have to pay to use it? What's next, the trunk won't open without a subscription? Seat heaters? The...
I work 100% from home, and I don't use highways much unless I go on a (rare) longer trip to see family on a holiday weekend, or vacation. I've owned the car for 1.5 years and I think I have 15k miles on it now, and most of that is local, non-highway driving. On the rare occasion I get on the...
Mine's at the dealer with the dreaded HVBJB. Luckily it went belly-up while in my garage. I also need to let the dealership know I have been having this "guest profile" issue as well. Love the car but it is one "bug" after another.
Every body shop in my area has a "Help Wanted" sign outside. My favorite shop told me they would not even schedule it due to their current backlog, so I had to take it to the dealership's affiliate body shop.
Mine's been in the body shop over a month after being intercepted by a suicidal deer that smashed the left fender, so I imagine it looks much the same as yours.
It hasn't faded or fallen off, so still good. Several of my buddies have jad these vinyl plates on their classic British cars going on 6-7 years now; it is where I got the idea.
DHS doesn't do "pursuit" - they aren't traffic cops (Federal Protective Service), so the lower trims are suitable for just getting our officers around DC. A select is still faster than 90% of the cars on the road anyway....
Another issue is that the forum just seems to be 'biased towards negativity' as there aren't a bunch of shade-tree mechanics talking about putting in performance battery packs, "hacked" control software, 1200hp electric motors, etc. - yet. The aftermarket will catch up someday, and at that point...
Normally I charge mine to 90%, but find I only need to charge once every two-three days or so, as I run it down to about 30% in that time in local driving.
I originally ordered a 2021 GT PE six months ago from Century Ford in Mt. Airy, MD, but in January I found my exact car off a lot in PA for MSRP. Sooo, if anyone is looking for a (2022 model year now) GT PE, Century has two of them on the lot as of last weekend. When I ordered mine, they screwed...
Just remember that the Guess-O-Meter is conservative and NOT what your actual range may end up being. My best range was doing about 55mph on secondary roads, enjoying the scenery, and I was getting 3.5mi/kWh. 3.5mi*88 kWh = 308 miles on a full 100% charge. The dashboard was only showing an...
SWO,
So far, so good....
You need to be right on top of it to see that it isn't a real plate. I've been told that the only "giveaway" may be the lack of bolt heads, but it is an option to have those printed onto the vinyl if you like.
