Once a week I make a 195 mile freeway round trip. When the temps are in the 30s as they have been lately, Iām getting about 210 miles of range in my GT. Thatās about 20% less than what it predicts on the dash. I set the cruise at 70 MPH and watch the range slowly but surely melt away faster than...
The condescending, all-knowing replies and responses by wannabe race car drivers is humorous. You canāt or wonāt answer even a basic question.
But, Iāll answer yours, Mach1E. This is my third EV. Iāve also owned a Volt and a Bolt. Impressive? No. Iāve also owned 5s, 7s, an SS Montecarlo, SS...
I have never experienced what youāre describing in my GT and Iāve punched the car many, many times while driving over 75. The outcome is 100 mph plus is rapid succession.
Honest question: If a GT is cruising along at 80 mph on the freeway and the driver mashes the throttle, how fast will the car be traveling when this limitation sets in?
Yet another drama filled thread with folks who want to drive a race car on public roads. Yāall are edge cases. The vast majority of MME drivers will never encounter the issue you all seem to have going to the grocery store.
I live in NorCal and Iāve had my GT for 18 months. I honestly have no idea what a grey bar is or means. Iāve never experienced one. So, no, I donāt think itās an issue at all.
Iāll also point out there is a small but dedicated group of MME owners on these boards who make it their life mission...
Sorry, youāre a fringe case. Youāre in the small minority. The vast majority of people who have an ME will never encounter the five second issue for exactly the reasons I listed out earlier.
I get that you are not happy, and I get why. But, nothingās going to change. Perhaps future models will...
I simply donāt get why so many folks whine and complain about the five second issue. Iāve never once wished that my GT was faster. Whether I floor it for five seconds from a stoplight or floor while driving 70 Mph, within five seconds in either scenario the car is traveling at unsafe speeds on...
I have a 2022 Mach E. My employer has installed a bunch of Juice Box chargers that employees can use. Since I got the car about a year ago, the Juice Box has added about 20 miles per hour of range when plugged in. Recently, itās dropped to only adding about 8 miles per hour of range. Iāve tried...
Yes, I have the same issue. Happens every now and then. When it happens, flip your lights to off off and then back to automatic. Thatās the temporary fix until Ford figures out a permanent fix.
My MachE GTās headlights are acting up. Specifically, the head lights will either not shut off when I turn off the car or they somehow magically turn themselves on in the garage. I canāt tell you how many times Iāve walked out in the garage to find the lights on. And, no, the key is not in my...
Are you saying you get money back (as in a check) in that scenario? If so, I hope youāre right, but I donāt think you are.
If youāre saying in the second scenario that Bob will get a check back from the feds for $7,500, I think youāre incorrect.
Iām far from a tax expert, but thatās not my understanding. If you donāt owe the Feds, thereās no credit back. Thatās what I think I thought I knew.
