  1. Real world range

Once a week I make a 195 mile freeway round trip. When the temps are in the 30s as they have been lately, Iā€™m getting about 210 miles of range in my GT. Thatā€™s about 20% less than what it predicts on the dash. I set the cruise at 70 MPH and watch the range slowly but surely melt away faster than...
  2. I still love my MME so much

My MME GT is the best daily driver Iā€™ve ever owned. By far.
  3. Future Mach-E buyers, please note…

Last week the local Ford dealer offered me $42k for my 2021 GT with 16,000 miles. The right at what I owe. I didnā€™t take it.
  4. 5 second limit explained?

Like moths to a flame, itā€™s literally the same 6-8 guys working overtime to convince other MME owners thereā€™s a real world problem.
  5. Goodbye 1st Edition, Hello Mediocrity

The Bolt is a perfectly good and reliable daily driver. Not nearly the fun of a MME, but it gets the job done very well.
  6. Do you think it’s likely that the 5 second acceleration limit will change?

The condescending, all-knowing replies and responses by wannabe race car drivers is humorous. You canā€™t or wonā€™t answer even a basic question. But, Iā€™ll answer yours, Mach1E. This is my third EV. Iā€™ve also owned a Volt and a Bolt. Impressive? No. Iā€™ve also owned 5s, 7s, an SS Montecarlo, SS...
  7. Do you think it’s likely that the 5 second acceleration limit will change?

I have never experienced what youā€™re describing in my GT and Iā€™ve punched the car many, many times while driving over 75. The outcome is 100 mph plus is rapid succession.
  8. Do you think it’s likely that the 5 second acceleration limit will change?

Sorry, I donā€™t understand your reply. If Iā€™m doing 70 and floor it, how fast will the car be moving when the limitation sets in?
  9. Do you think it’s likely that the 5 second acceleration limit will change?

Honest question: If a GT is cruising along at 80 mph on the freeway and the driver mashes the throttle, how fast will the car be traveling when this limitation sets in?
  10. Finally really felt the 5 second limit

Yet another drama filled thread with folks who want to drive a race car on public roads. Yā€™all are edge cases. The vast majority of MME drivers will never encounter the issue you all seem to have going to the grocery store.
  11. Do you think it’s likely that the 5 second acceleration limit will change?

Such ridiculous, hand wringing drama. Drop the hammer while doing 65 and youā€™ll be doing 100 mph in five seconds. Save it.
  12. Gray Bar Opinions, Please

I live in NorCal and Iā€™ve had my GT for 18 months. I honestly have no idea what a grey bar is or means. Iā€™ve never experienced one. So, no, I donā€™t think itā€™s an issue at all. Iā€™ll also point out there is a small but dedicated group of MME owners on these boards who make it their life mission...
  13. Do you think it’s likely that the 5 second acceleration limit will change?

Sorry, youā€™re a fringe case. Youā€™re in the small minority. The vast majority of people who have an ME will never encounter the five second issue for exactly the reasons I listed out earlier. I get that you are not happy, and I get why. But, nothingā€™s going to change. Perhaps future models will...
  14. Do you think it’s likely that the 5 second acceleration limit will change?

I simply donā€™t get why so many folks whine and complain about the five second issue. Iā€™ve never once wished that my GT was faster. Whether I floor it for five seconds from a stoplight or floor while driving 70 Mph, within five seconds in either scenario the car is traveling at unsafe speeds on...
  15. 23 GT, chip in windshield, already šŸ˜’

I had a chip that didnā€™t get repaired fast enough, and now itā€™s cracked. Stupid me.
  16. Charging Issue

I have a 2022 Mach E. My employer has installed a bunch of Juice Box chargers that employees can use. Since I got the car about a year ago, the Juice Box has added about 20 miles per hour of range when plugged in. Recently, itā€™s dropped to only adding about 8 miles per hour of range. Iā€™ve tried...
  17. Headlights stay on

Yes, I have the same issue. Happens every now and then. When it happens, flip your lights to off off and then back to automatic. Thatā€™s the temporary fix until Ford figures out a permanent fix.
  18. More piddly crap…

My MachE GTā€™s headlights are acting up. Specifically, the head lights will either not shut off when I turn off the car or they somehow magically turn themselves on in the garage. I canā€™t tell you how many times Iā€™ve walked out in the garage to find the lights on. And, no, the key is not in my...
  19. Future rebates/incentives?

Are you saying you get money back (as in a check) in that scenario? If so, I hope youā€™re right, but I donā€™t think you are. If youā€™re saying in the second scenario that Bob will get a check back from the feds for $7,500, I think youā€™re incorrect.
  20. Future rebates/incentives?

Iā€™m far from a tax expert, but thatā€™s not my understanding. If you donā€™t owe the Feds, thereā€™s no credit back. Thatā€™s what I think I thought I knew.
