Happy to say that my participation in this thread going forward will not be bc I no longer have my vehicle. Finally took possession yesterday. Hope everyone else still holding out for theirs in this thread has a similar conclusion.
Well, my Premium AWD Ext has been at the railyard in KC since 11.2. Was supposed to be delivered to the dealership between 11.26-12.2. They're claiming the 12v battery died on it. Still haven't taken delivery.....although I am supposed to have it by 2.9. Not holding my breath and running out...
Just want to say thank you for all the help you provide in this forum. It is greatly appreciated.
I had wondered exactly how to find that myself so thank you.
Supposedly that’s why mine has been stuck in the rail yard in KC since 11.2. I’ll be making sure they have replaced my 12v battery before I take delivery.
That makes sense also. Was figuring I’d trade it back for a new one in 3 yrs just bc hopefully the technology (and charging) will be much improved by then but I’ve had my current Acura 14 yrs so who knows. Hah. Think I’ll go w the 19500 miles then and see how everything plays out.
Really...
I never thought about it that way but that makes complete sense now. Would probably be better to just low ball the miles then to have the lower payment then and see how the car's value works out in the end.
Thanks for the insight. I greatly appreciate it. Just seems backwards to me that the bubble payment at the end would be higher going w/ the lower mileage. Calculating out 10500k miles vs 19500k miles, the total amounts do come out to close the same in the end (around $100 off if my math was...
Thank you. I appreciate your feedback. Just trying to wrap my head around the Ford Options concept. Theoretically, if I am planning on trading the car in after my 3 yrs financed for a new Mach E for the sake of simplicity, that would affect my bubble payment/trade it amount though correct? If...
So would I take a hit on the residual value if I trade it at the end of the Ford Options contract? Like when you're over the mileage on a lease and then have to pay for that extra mileage at the end.
Do you happen to know how much extra it is per mile to add more? I put close to 20k/yr just on commuting alone and know I'll be using the car for errands also. We thinking of getting around 25k miles.
Mine has been at the KC railyard since 11.2 apparently due to a "dead 12v battery". Chips have been good and I never got the seat belt recall. Delivery estimate has now been pushed back yet again to 2.3-2.9.22. This is getting ridiculous.
Really starting to get to this point myself. The lack of information is ridiculous.
Does anyone know what Ford would use to transport to Ohio? Not pulling any info from United Road.
How is that even possible????
Mine was ordered on 5.24 and has been sitting in KC since 11.2. Premium AWD Ext. No recalls. Chips are good. And no clue from the regional manager as to why it's been sitting there for this long but he's "got a good guess". It's amazing to me how the left hand...
