When I couldn't get an update to complete - I jumped through a lot of hoops and read the valuable information on the forum! I had false hopes of prepping to get BlueCruise 1.3! My attempts and tests revealed that my 12 V battery was weak and it was replaced. I did get the updates to run...
Hello techies! I took delivery of the 2023 GTPE for which Mike G ran FDRS on 26 Feb. I have now sold my 2021 Premium - updated my signature - and am ready for tasteful modifications, a few strips of paint protection - and a 'health check' on my new car.
I would like to see how a report now...
I made the move from a Oct 2021 AWD ER Premium in Dark Grey Matter to a GTPE from Sept 2023 in Vapor Blue. Right after the price drops late Feb. Did Ford Options, doing a 39 mo lease - hoping for a current model year next time. The Premium has now been sold. I consider this a solid...
Thanks for the report @Mike G. I am also a Mike G. We had 5 Mikes of 14 boys in my 8th grade class. I still sign my mother's cards this way for prosperity.
What is the consensus on taking New delivery... fully updated? Or only address problems with updates? Am I threading the needle with...
I would very much appreciate FDRS update report on a GTPE I closed on yesterday, but will pick up tomorrow evening....maybe enough time for some needed updates. It was Born in September.

I felt slightly bummed seeing Bring a Trailer buys twice what my 75 911S Targa sold for in 2016. $75K vs $36K.
But really, it's just .... interesting. I was tired of rererestoring it.
Merry Christmas. I got 6.6.0 to install after many attempts to optimize the 12 V voltage.
What worked was two 30 mile trips and then charging with my L2 Juice box set to 3kW, which would charge through the night. Using the included 120V charging adapter overnight did not work...maybe too low...
The local hospital has One shared Free ChargePoint Level 2 charger. 3 or 6 kW. My mother was In-house for 4 days and during my visits I picked up some free electrons amounting to about 130 miles total.
There was usually one of several Teslae (is that the correct plural?) backed into the #1...
Not having an easy availability to select a full charge for a trip is ANOTHER reason road trips are frustrating. Ford Motor Co ought to think this through. When I plan a trip I cancel my paper, set Tstats to vacation mode etc.
PAS shough have a PreCondtion for departure at date and time with...
I have been experiencing this outgoing call issue as described. I certainly expected that someone would deal with it rapidly... I have gotten used to avoiding making calls and if I do I toggle to speaker and back to Bluetooth. OTA fix is LONG overdue.
After the radio preset fix...I was back...
I believe I have had the big event. This forum alerted me to the issues long ago and the grand thread from DevSecOps has been reviewed and appreciated. Premium AWD - October 2021 build date.
DCFC only on occasion, including the day of Service Vehicle Soon failure. All patches and updates...
I confess I have not read this entire thread. The bounciness of the ride has been a problematic detractor for my wife's passenger enjoyment of our 2021 Premium ER AWD. I recently did a tire rotation and noted the suspension components and came here looking for rear shock swaps because they...
@AOSK contacted me and quickly sent a replacement. The first had plastic pieces damaged during shipment in an unpadded Amazon bag.
All is good, the bag is a great solution for my desire to have a clutter free vehicle.... and I appreciate the service.
@ASOK - I received my trash container through Amazon today. I noticed what I thought were pieces of the leatherette material loose in the clear manufacture's packing bag. When I opened the black plastic magnetic mouth (gently) I noticed the fabric had pulled out of the plastic on the starboard...
I have read and searched and certainly know the temperature related performance issues with battery output. This seems to be the place to post the following question rather than start a new OMG GOM thread.
HOWEVER - who can tell me if there is information about this:
The battery is warmed to...
Boy did this statement put a stop to our lively Build Week discussion - Fake News by the way. I would like the animated puddle lights that China has. No_Ice stepped firmly into the troll realm with that one.
I agree, and so do my passengers. Passing trucks doesn't maintain a natural distance. The software could allow a manual tweek or sense where I want it to be.
I don't think I have read yet in this thread why coasting is more efficient than regeneration. Maybe I am the only one proposing a clarification that is clear from other discussions. Regeneration, although more efficient than braking, does require current flow and other losses. It is not 100%...
Here in NorCal it is 81 degrees. I am happy that last week I figured out that my dash vents were all rolled down and off. I had the car for a month at that point - I had casually wondered why airflow was low. Forum search - this is a common occurrence.
Don't be a vent nube like me :).
